Embassy Suites by Hilton Cleveland Rockside

No complaints except having to buy water.

Nice place. My family and I stayed here as a stopover on a trip to the east coast. It’s also only about 20 minutes to downtown Cleveland.

Breakfast was good; kitchen staff was great. Guest relations could have been better. Lobby was nice and recently renovated. However, the room was very disappointing. The carpet was gross with many stains on it. Didn't feel we could walk on it without shoes on. The carpet edges were sharp because there was no strip covering it for transition to tiled floor. Curtains had big holes in them. The tables and nightstand had something sticky on them so I had to go out and buy Lysol wipes to clean them. Also, I reserved and paid in advance for a king suite and ended up with 2 queen beds. The linens for the pull out sofa were missing. We had to go to the front desk to get the sheets and pillowcases; were told they'd bring a blanket but they never did. We were there for 3 nights. Lobby was nice but rooms are in desperate need of some attention. Also, they had no carts available for our check-in or check-out. I had to stalk another guest who had a cart, and wait for her to unload so that I could use her cart to load up our car. I counted 3 carts in use for the entire hotel, which was full because it was a holiday weekend.

The elevator kept breaking down. I was there 4 days and 2 days the elevator was not working. The breakfast was delicious

The breakfast was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large with comfortable beds.

The staff is friendly and the complimentary breakfast is a bonus. All three elevators rarely worked and the rooms were dated but overall it was a nice stay.

This particular hotel was in a nice location which made me feel safe to get out at night. Not alot of traffic. Hotel staff was great but most of all the guy making the omelets. He was the Best.

It was a great stay but the hotel rooms are dated.

I appreciated the staff’s politeness and professionalism throughout my stay. My mother’s comforter was dirty, which was disappointing. I also expected a one-bedroom suite to be much larger based on my experiences at other Embassy Suites locations. For the price, the room felt smaller than expected. Additionally, housekeeping did not provide clean towels or replace the trash bags during our stay.
