Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa, Indian Wells

Staff was informed about a drunk guest in pool they refused to help. Once the guest became unconscious my daughter and wife had to physically pull the guest out of pool. Staff did nothing to remedy the situation.

My restroom was a little dirty and no body wash or conditioner but when called for them they took them with in 10 min from the call everything else was okay

Everything was perfect!

A perfect getaway weekend. A hotel coffee offers everything you can want more. The only criticism was the Spa whole area could be bigger and they did not be the Jacuzzi which I think it should be heated. Otherwise it’s wonderful.

Also the hotel was not staffed to host this large event. There were room service carts sitting in the hallway for more than 24 hours before they were taken away. The lobby restaurant bar was not staffed for the amount of people that attended the event. We waited over 30 mins to place an order and an additional hour to get the food and drinks we ordered. Despite the room being nice, I will never come back to this hotel.

Amenities Miscellaneous little charges added to my tab. I have to call tomorrow regarding these charges. Hotel not busy but wouldn’t extend my checkout saying I need to be the next tier bonvoy member. I have been coming to this hotel every year for past 10 years.

The beds in the room were too small the temperature on the rooms or not cold enough

Nice place. The family really liked the pool. Clean room and great food. We will be back.

I like the pool view and the breakfasts at cava There wasn’t enough entertainment . The parking garage was way in the back and I had to walk with all my bags 1/2 a mile

We then trekked back down to the lobby, to again request a room near the elevator. We were a bit closer, so at least someone tried, which I appreciated. They also posted 3 charges on the same day for parking. We checked in, and self parked, yet I now owe them $85.00. Trying to reach ANYONE to get these things fixed, I have been ignored.

Wonderful stay!

I enjoyed my spacious suite as a solo traveler. I ordered my dinner and breakfast to be delivered to my room, which was fun. Food was good, but I was rather surprised that there were zero non-dairy milk choices available. Also, I would have preferred more vegan options in general. Overall it was a good stay though. I was there to attend a popular conference that was held at the hotel, so the hotel was booked to capacity. It’s a very large hotel with many, many rooms. It’s a Marriott “Bonvoy” hotel so it definitely has that mainstream, corporate feel. It’s quite pretty and pleasant, though. I was impressed with the good health of the indoor plants in the multistory atrium. For me, organic soymilk in my coffee would’ve made it 5 stars!
