The “night auditor” as she identified herself was not helpful about helping me get trash bag and shampoo and seemed under the influence of some narcotic. I’m sure there something else I’m forgetting but stay was unsatisfactory
-
Awful. Dirty, moldy. Elevator was out of service. The only good thing I can say is that the ac worked well. Don’t stay here!
-
Side glass door was cracked. Elevator broken and we had a 2nd floor room. Room window was broken, AC was dripping water and room smelled like mildew. No one cleaned out garbage in breakfast area each day and no one was monitoring the breakfast bar.
-
Elevator was broke, mold in and around the room. Needs updating for the price.
-
The property is very run down, and the room was not the cleanest. Staff was friendly and breakfast was okay
-
The elevator was not working, the stairwells were filthy and sticky and a rat trap was in the stairwell. The room had fleas on the bed and less than 2 minutes in the room we were had been bitten. The bathroom was not clean and was disgusting. 0 out of 10 recommend.
-
The staff was polite, but the elevator was broken and non-operational. They claimed it was due to ongoing changes and remodeling. However, I didn’t see any visible changes or improvements in the hotel. Many fixtures in my room were broken, including the toilet paper holder, and there were also faulty lightbulbs and outlets.

Was not notified the elevator was broken so we had to walk up 3 flights with all our luggage the entire stay. The pool had caution signs on it . Multiple rat traps . Moldy musty rooms. Lights in bathroom did not work. I definitely don’t recommend

Staff was helpful, hotel is in rough shape!

Not the greatest of places to stay. Our room was clean and the pool area was nice. Breakfast was so so, nothing to be excited about. At first sight the place looks rough and institutional like. Elevators did not work. We couldn't enter the building thru the side doors. The only working ice machine was on the 3rd floor. Only 2 working outlets in the room. But the worst part was, our toilet got plugged and we called down to the front desk to have somebody come unplug it and we were told" oh, we don't do toilets, come to the front desk and we will give you a plunger and we can get it yourself" We were unable to get it unplugged and it took them about 10 hours so housekeeping to get it unplugged. Also, we asked for our room to be cleaned everyday, but that didn't happen. We used the same towels our entire stay! The staff could be a little friendlier as well

The elevator was broken

The older guy and the blonde girl at the front were very polite and seemed to be trying their best with the situation though. So it was pretty cheap, but I definitely got what I paid for (probably less).

Soon as he walked in the front door, all you could smell was a wet, musty smell. Elevators didn’t work going up the stairwells you see mold in the stairwells got to the room room smelled musty moldy couldn’t get in the room had to get switched rooms. Internet going in and out breakfast late not good.
-
It was ok all gonna say. Our door could only be opened by a master key. So every time we wanting in out room we had to walk down stairs because elevators didn’t work to get a key to open door. But room was nice and clean. But with a bad knee I’m not gonna stay there again.
-
The elevators were out-of-service. The indoor pool was closed. There looked to be dried blood on the walls and ceiling of the stairwell. The side entrance was not locked and opened freely without a key card, cracks and plaster was missing from the wall in both the room and bathroom, the room phone did not work, an outlet on the desk between the beds did not work. Did not feel safe.
-
Mold on the ceiling of room, elevator was broken, dirty creepy stairwell, corners in the bathroom were black and dirty.
-
The room was fine and beds were comfortable. The elevator was broken. The breakfast bar was lacking in several areas. The outside of the building was missing huge pieces of the ceiling.
-
Can't not advise strongly enough to stay away from this Comfort Inn. If we had another option, we would have left.
-
Nothing, it was an all around bad experience, and we basically used the room as a place to shower and crash for the nights we were in Carmel. The room had animal feces in it and was not cleaned. The elevator was broken the entire time we were there and the pool was closed most of the time. When I reported that there was feces in our room, the person at the front desk who I suspect was the owner though he claimed not to be the owner was unapologetic and acted like I was hassling him as he begrudgingly gave us a new room.

No elevator. Room keys wouldn't work. Hotel is run down, smelly and dirty. We didn't even make it in the room. 6 different keys and bone worked. Asked for a refund. Found a different place to stay
