Comfort Inn Indianapolis North - Carmel

Pool closed. Holes in the ceiling tiles. Shower drain was clogged. Ice machine was out of service. Staff was really nice and understanding when I wanted to cancel my stay.

Very nice place to stay and would stay again.

Our first room we had to be relocated as the door to the room was stuck and was not aligned to close properly. The second room was better. Rooms appeared to be clean at first glance, however when looking further it really wasn't as clean as we've seen at other places. When we returned to our room later in the afternoon on our first day, we found that the room had not been cleaned as the bed was still unmade and towels, we used, weren't taken and no new towels were left. When we went to get some clean towels, we were told that we needed to let them know that they should come in and clean, make bed and leave clean towels. Not sure we've ever had to request our room to be cleaned. We were given fresh towels, and we had to put the dirty towels in the hallway for them to be picked up for cleaning. Breakfast was just okay as when we went down, breakfast was not fully prepared and ready for the customers. We notice employees bringing the food in after the fact. Breakfast was scheduled for 7am and we went down between 8:30a and 9a. Not sure we will return to this location. Alot of deficiency need to be addressed!

Bedding and pillows were dirty. Small dark hairs were in the bedding. The room had not been cleaned and the bedding was dirty from previous customer. We were disgusted.

Award winning breakfast, sorry no eggs today, we are out. Only thing hot were some mediocre warm sausage links. Elevator was out so hope you had a first floor room like we did. Hole in the roof with trash cans underneath it. Just not well run IMO. Would not recommend

The elevator was broken, so we needed to use the stairs, totally fine, except for the first level floor was propped open from the outside, which felt breach of safety. Here on the floor in the bathroom and the bathroom felt dirty. Breakfast was not mindful of dietary restrictions.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was minimal - under the stainless hot cover were sausages on 1 half and nothing on the other. Coffee cups were tiny styrofoam with no lids available. Room was ok except air conditioner air blew on both beds which made sleeping difficult. Bathroom amenities were skimpy.

The property was not as well maintained as advertised. The elevators were broken during the stay which made it very difficult when traveling with small children. The room was clean.

Hotel is showing signs of age. Elevator wasn't working so the 3 flights of stairs wasn't fun.

The only staff we encountered was the front desk guy, who was quite friendly and professional. The continental breakfast was a pathetic joke: there were sausages but no eggs. There were some bagels, but no danish to speak of: the danish that was there was dry and tasteless and was about the size of a ChipsAhoy cookie (I ate one bc I had the long doctor appointment that morning and felt I should try to get something in my stomach). TheHubs said the sausages didn't taste like sausages and thought they were possibly turkey sausage instead of pork. Don't count on actually getting a continental breakfast if you are staying here. The elevator was out and it appeared that the few customers who were there were all being placed on the first floor bc of that. It was not very quiet and future upgrades need to stress sound proofing. Hair dryer worked but hadn't been cleaned in probably ever.

Nadia at the front desk was the most helpful, kind, and patient person ever. Really appreciated her help. We had a very good stay and would stay there again.

Not very clean and pictures not very accurate!

The “night auditor” as she identified herself was not helpful about helping me get trash bag and shampoo and seemed under the influence of some narcotic. I’m sure there something else I’m forgetting but stay was unsatisfactory

Awful. Dirty, moldy. Elevator was out of service. The only good thing I can say is that the ac worked well. Don’t stay here!

Side glass door was cracked. Elevator broken and we had a 2nd floor room. Room window was broken, AC was dripping water and room smelled like mildew. No one cleaned out garbage in breakfast area each day and no one was monitoring the breakfast bar.

Elevator was broke, mold in and around the room. Needs updating for the price.

The property is very run down, and the room was not the cleanest. Staff was friendly and breakfast was okay

The elevator was not working, the stairwells were filthy and sticky and a rat trap was in the stairwell. The room had fleas on the bed and less than 2 minutes in the room we were had been bitten. The bathroom was not clean and was disgusting. 0 out of 10 recommend.

The staff was polite, but the elevator was broken and non-operational. They claimed it was due to ongoing changes and remodeling. However, I didn’t see any visible changes or improvements in the hotel. Many fixtures in my room were broken, including the toilet paper holder, and there were also faulty lightbulbs and outlets.

Was not notified the elevator was broken so we had to walk up 3 flights with all our luggage the entire stay. The pool had caution signs on it . Multiple rat traps . Moldy musty rooms. Lights in bathroom did not work. I definitely don’t recommend
