No elevator and very dated, bathroom ceiling peeling, not very clean
-
The hotel is rundown. Elevator broken my entire stay. The breakfast was fine typical hotel breakfast but my room not cleaned. I found garbage from previous guests in the sheets and had to ask to have my sheets changed as they were clearly dirty. The staff was amazing I felt bad for them because they were working hard to maintain a property that needs work!

This hotel needs to be gutted and redone and/or torn down. It is very dated. We had water condensation in our bathroom from the upstairs dripping thru the ceiling. There was mold all over the ceiling. There was a literal hole in the wall behind the toilet. Carpets were nasty. There cobwebs all under one of the beds in our room. The room looked as if it had been smoked in 'back in the day' and still had that yellow tinge about it. We truly did not feel safe here, however it was too late to make changes, so we made the beat of a bad situation. The only 2 positives were the elderly gentleman who checked us in that evening. As well as the small pond & gazebo outside where we could watch the ducks.

AC unit in the room was very dirty and cover was falling off. Room had a very musty smell. At breakfast food was not being checked by staff. Items were filled only when asked.

The hotel needs major renovation- very outdated. Often NO attendant at the desk to assist. Elevator does not operate, we were told it was broken. Computer was not working, broken also. Ice machine first floor-broken also. Our keys did not work on day 2. Went to desk for new keys. Second set of keys still did not work. Attendant had to bring a master key to let us in our room at 10:30pm (three trips up & down stairs) because the elevator did not work. Had to ask for more shampoo, toilet paper & towels. We expected more for what we paid for. Disappointed customer!!

Our actual room wasn’t bad but the hotel definitely needs an update. The gym was pretty gross with dust n dirt, food on the floor and it was very small. Also wouldn’t mind some nicer toiletry items in the bathrooms.

Breakfast was OK, but that is the only upside to the hotel. My room smelled horrible. While sheets smelt cleaned the were very stained up. The hotel was having issues with their key system and a random person was able to unlock my door and enter. When I talked to the front desk they said they are having issues with the system but we are in a safe area so it should be fine. Other guests were complaining about the same issue. Two days into my 5 day stay the elevator broke down and was not repaired before I checked out.

This place is literally falling apart. The walls in our room were crumbling. There was a musty oder throughout. The elevator don’t use it if its working its not worth the risk. I will never again try to save a couple dollars… ill pay more because I knew better.

It’s cheap. Room was humid and damp.

STOP. GO ELSEWHERE! This place is disgusting. Minimal food for breakfast and did not refill. Bathrooms filthy with mold and mildew. Toilet wouldn’t stop running. Don’t do it!
-
Back stairs smelled like dead rats Garbage piled there
-
Elevators not working half of the time, ice machines not working on each floor, no breakfast available only cereal and waffles, coffee machine stopped working, pool was closed for repairs, bathroom fans not working in our room. Needs lots of improvements.
-
The staff was very slim. The walls had cracks. Water lines exposed in hallway. Water or boiler or something made noise all night. Only one light in bathroom. Toilet roll broke.

The biggest issue was the pool being closed. When we asked about it, we received three different explanations from three different employees, which was frustrating and made it seem like no one really knew what was going on. The complimentary breakfast was also a letdown. The options were extremely limited, consisting mainly of waffles and overcooked, microwaved sausages. It certainly did not meet expectations. The hotel itself appeared poorly maintained. There were visible signs of water damage throughout the property, and the overall condition of the building felt neglected. To make matters worse, the heating and air conditioning in our room did not work properly, making our stay uncomfortable. The only positive aspect of our visit was that the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the lack of maintenance, poor communication, and subpar amenities outweighed any positives. We will not be staying at this hotel again and would not recommend it to others.

People were great room was dated but very clean.

The staff was great. Nice pool , bed was comfy Carpets dirty, stains on bedding.

We were there for three days but we never got fresh bed sheets. At one point, I passed by the front desk and asked for housekeeping service, unfortunately, whoever made the beds used the same sheets that we had used the previous two nights. When it comes to staff, I think they only have one person covering the front desk and preparing breakfast, quite an inconvenience. I went to the desk to talk to him, but I saw he was busy getting breakfast together that I had to go back to the room without talking to him after standing at the desk for a while.

Nothing That the ac unit in my room didn’t work, and window was hanging out

First of all, the TV remote in the living area of my suite did not work. It was late and I decided to just scroll on my phone. The toilet bowl is broken and looks as if the porcelain was glued back together. This morning I discovered two dirty towels that were hanging on the back of the bathroom door. This morning, I went down for breakfast at 9:15 and there was very little food. Breakfast is scheduled until 10am. No hot items. Only waffle mix, some slices of bread, and one bagel. There was dry cereal and packages of oatmeal. But again, the tray that had eggs and sausages was empty. No yogurt. No muffins. And very weak coffee. I told the manager about the towels and the toilet on checkout and he indicated that the property is scheduled for a complete remodel and seemed relieved about that.

The staff was great especially the lady and Willie who checked me in . They had a good variety of snacks to help me through the night . The property was older and not many renovations have been made although it’s in a very respectable & wealthy area. My toilet ran constantly but it was not a distraction with the door closed.
