Very good and friendly owners

Pool was clean . The breakfast was on point. The room was spacious and beds were comfortable. The only complaint I have was,the bathtub was slick when showering. The microwave was rusting on the inside. The mini fridge was iced over,and the TV didn't work the first night of my stay . Other than those things . It was a good location with lots of restaurants and stores that were in walking distance

This is middle of the road slightly above average for those in traveling sports. Stayed here with a 15yr old and felt comfortable.

I booked this hotel for a lacrosse tournament and wouldn't do it again. The location was poor, the neighborhood was not great and we stayed on the 3rd floor with bars on the window. Upon arrival, there were broken toys outside which made it appear that people were living in the hotel and someone was actually selling a car in the parking lot. The room was run down and the bathroom was gross, with a film in the tub.

This hotel was a place to lay my head, but it was very dated and not cleaned well. There were visible food crumbs on the night stand when I checked in. There was debris on the dresser (looked as if someone had drilled in the area and didn’t clean up the saw dust,.. but there were no holes in the wall or evidence of work being done to justify it). There was dirt build up in the corners in the bathroom and hair on the floor. After asking for my room to be cleaned, all of the above were still there. So apparently, sheets and linens are changed but nothing gets wiped down. Very gross. I won’t stay here again.

The property is not updated as the pictures appear. I asked to speak with a manager twice and never received a call.

So dirty, old appliances, fridge didn’t work in the room.ripped carpet in hallway. Looks like it hasn’t been touched in 50 years. Will never stay again . Asked for room to be cleaned and never happened.

Definitely a dated hotel and very musty. It was not cleaned very well in addition to the lack of updating. Cost was way too high for the level of hotel this was. We had to stay here for stay to play volleyball, and I can’t believe it’s on an approved list.

While clean, the property is old and needs to be better maintained. We didn’t partake in the breakfast, so can’t comment on that. We stayed here for a youth sport tournament. It’s just very frustrating as the stay was $$$ for what we received. The location was the best part of the place. And our room had a smell that we couldn’t figure out.

I was very pleased with my stay at this Comfort in, staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Ok Expedia you do not reveal the actual condition of this hotel. It’s an old property poorly maintained. The room and corridors smelled awful. The women at the front desk was middle eastern and I could barely understand the English she was trying to speak. She was not even interested in trying to deal with my complaints. I did not stay and my and took my to the Hilton Garden Inn. I’ll never stay at any Comfort Suites or Choice hotel because of this experience. I’m requesting a full refund or I will be doing a charge back to my credit card. People do not believe the pics you see on the Expedia website. The whole thing was a fraud. To EVERYONE this is the comfort suites hotel in Northwest Indiana. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

When we arrived, we were told that they overbooked and asked us to stay in their other property, which was the building next to this hotel. This other property did not have the 2 double beds that we booked. Instead, it had a king bed with a small pull out couch. The TV did not work either. We’ve never had this happen before and feel that it’s wrong to change to reservation that we paid for.

Older hotel, but very clean. Free breakfast, pool, etc. Only 1 functional luggage cart out of 3. There when girls were there for wrestling. So very loud.

Had issues with shower staff help resolve the issue immediately. Overall I’m not staying here again

The staff was friendly and the room was old but clean.
