This was the first time we had stayed at a Microtel Inn. The online pictures of the rooms and lobby looked great. Unfortunately, the room was outdated with an extremely old worn carpet. The bathroom floor was sticky. Additionally, there were not enough electrical outlets for today's electronics and the electrical outlets in the room were in the worst possible locations for anyone to utilize in a comfortable way. There were no outlets or usb ports near the head of the bed or on the bed side tables. There was one electrical outlet at the foot of the bed high off the floor, which meant whatever was plugged in had to hang or lay on the old worn carpet. We also had to juggle the card key to the room until the green light stayed on long enough for us to open the room door. The front desk staff were very personable. The microwave and coffee pot setup was just on a metal shelf. There was an extension cord hanging in the air under an open counter with the TV and microwave plugged in. We recommend if at all possible viewing the actual room prior to paying for your stay.

Personalized attention was perfect

Roach at elevator, the elevator not clean, carpets stains, stains on bed skirt, stains on bed pillows, a pair of women’s underwear stuffed under toilet cistern, air conditioner filters filthy and water flowed constantly and noisily thru the A/C. Used soap left in the shower and shower slow to drain. Food and crumbs in the microwave. We stayed at 6 hotels this hotel was by far the worse. The hotel had a notice posted that changes and remodeling were coming. That is no excuse for blatant uncleanness.

Excellent hotel very clean

My room was very clean, quiet, and I was able to get a good nights sleep.

Overall, I was happy with my stay. The staff were friendly and room was clean. I loved the location. It's right off the interstate and close to the zoo. While I didn't have breakfast, my boyfriend did every morning and said the biscuits and gravy were really good. Beyond the biscuits and gravy, there really wasn't a whole lot for breakfast other than some cereal and fruit. My only complaints were the location of the TV, which was over the dresser, and the height of the bathtub in the bathroom. It was very tall and rather difficult to step in and out of. It was also very slippery as well and I was concerned about falling at times. I made sure that I grabbed the towel rack every time I got in and out of the bathtub. But, other than that, I really don't have a whole lot of complaints about this hotel. I would definitely stay again and would have no problems recommending it.

The room had black mold and when told about it to the front desk not much was done. We were given another room that had the same issue and the room was damp and uncomfortable. We would have changed hotels but all the locals hotels were booked due to a competition going on in the area.

Property was safe and staff pleasant.

Room was dirty and dated

Just stayed for a few hours before a flight

The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean. Breakdast was accommodating. They were undergoing a remodel but were very courteous of guests. The only complain is the lingering smell of Marijuana in every corner and elevator. Very unpleasant with our children and baby. But an overall good stay.

Good place to lay your head for a decent price. Breakfast was ok, there were biscuits and gravy there that my daughter liked.

Any issue I had was resolved prompt by Mina, the night supervisor.
