Hyatt Place Columbia/Harbison

Check in was fine. The room was a nice size. The floor tiles in the bathroom some had cracks. The wall paper behind the toilet bowl was pealing away. The water from the handicapped shower came into the main room. We left around 11am one day and we asked for room cleaning it was never done. Had to go ask for towels. The next day they did clean but never gave us clean towels. Around the floor bottoms were dirty. The small refrigerator had no shelves and it was dirty. The bed was ok but not great. This will be a one and done stay. I was not impressed

Rooms were not clean. Carpet throughout the facility had major stains.staff was unresponsive. Gym equipment was not clean and not working properly.No water was available in cooler, clocks on the wall were not working. Breakfast was good. Would never stay at this facility again! Photo s that were online were misleading and did not represent the facility at all

The rooms smell old and look old. You can tell there is some work being done but it is an old hotel being worked on.

The bartender was amazing! The staff was very helpful throughout our stay!

Traveling Philadelphia to Florida needed to take a break so we’re only there for the night room is clean the little bar downstairs. The people were friendly. The food was good and we got a nice good sleep.

The breakfast was good and well worth. The room was very clean and it was quiet. My room was really nice my only problem was the shower, it got very slippery and I was afraid to slip. It was not just the shower but also where the toilet was. I did enjoy my stay and do recommend it. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The floors in the rooms need to be cleaned better - there were some sticky spots. The breakfast was the only thing that was disappointing. No yogurt and no fruit. It just seemed sparse compared to some other locations I stayed.

Great stay

This hotel is disappointing from a Hyatt Place standard. The hallways has an old, moldy smell. The cushions on my couch look dirty like it needs to be reupholstered. The couch itself was broken. The end that connect was warped and collapsed. The sleep was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The hotel breakfast they offered was not good. Hard boiled eggs was really hard. The pineapple/cantaloupe mix tasted fermented. If you're wanting breakfast, head across the parking lot to Cracker Barrel. Would not stay here again.

The staff for the most part was great with the exception that they kept putting my room number wrong for late check out which caused them to enter my room at 10am on my last day. The do not disturb sign was on the door and we were still sleeping. I was told I could check out late at 2pm, then told that was incorrect due to booking through a 3rd party. There were small black ants in the room. The pool was cloudy looking the whole stay so we could not use it. The breakfast was ok and typical. There is no microwave in the room and only a shared one downstairs.There was a line on Friday night at one point for the elevator. Overall, the stay wasn't bad but it wasn't the greatest. Location is close to the interstate, shopping, and restaurants.
