DoubleTree by Hilton Irvine - Spectrum

Amazing

My family and I had a wonderful time at DoubleTree. The customer service was exceptional, and our room was spotless and well-stocked. The shuttle service to the Irvine Spectrum was incredibly convenient, and our driver, Jesus, was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Everything was clean and staff were very helpful. They give you a chocolate chip cookie!

Stayed 1 night for a soccer tournament. Arrived late in the evening and the staff was so helpful and nice. The hotel was perfectly clean and this small hotel seemed to have it all. A restaurant and bar with food that was good and filling. A small grab and go cafe with everything you might need including fresh made coffee early in the morning which was much appreciated for a 5:30 wake up. Would definitely stay here again especially because the rate was so much lower than other hotels in the area.

With my son’s soccer tournaments, we’ve stayed in quite a few hotels, usually $3-400.00 range. I think the Double tree room/property was nicest yet in that price range.

Check in is very slow.

The hotel is very old, and it’s not cheaper 🤔, the bedroom was terrible, also the bed.

This is a great place to stay, close to dining, shopping, freeways, easy in and out location. The rooms are clean and comfortable, there is food on-site, the staff is friendly and the cookies are delicious! Would definitely stay here again.

Great place. Customer service just depends on who you speak to. It started off with 5star customer service when I called to request early check in and they accommodated our needs without hesitation. However, my booking came with breakfast and parking per Expedia and during the day as much as I explained the booking in detail the front desk representative declined to make those accommodations. It was very disappointing for me because I literally booked this specific hotel based on seeking one that came with breakfast and parking. On their side, they could only see that it was booking for a room and no more detail details. She declined to review my Expedia details. Overall, the places great, very clean and very friendly staff.

I was able to make sure I got a room and an accessible shower. The room was good size and clean. However, the television would not receive several channels of which I wanted to watch. After notifying him on the second morning they came up right away and said we look into it by the time we left on our day the next morning the TV had not been fixed nor had anybody contacted us regarding the TV. When we checked out, they did give me credit and didn’t charge me for parking.

The staff are always so helpful and wonderful! I stay at this hotel often, have gotten to know many staff members by name, and they always go above and beyond to give the best customer service. The lobby also smells amazing!

Front desk was very nice and helpful

The carpet and some furniture are outdated and worn, but still clean. It seems like there were nice updates made (shower, counter, huge smart tv, bed), while others need replacing (desk chair was extremely worn and peeling, bathroom cabinets chipped and worn). The plumbing was a bit strange - I was on the 8th floor and had only very hot water coming from the sink and shower, even when turned all the way to cold. The toilet also has a very weak flush and sometimes doesn’t work at all the first time. Overall these are minor things that wouldn’t necessarily keep me from staying again, just some small things that would make the stay perfect!

Parking should have been free for guests. Found that to be extra. Carpets need to be changed and some upgrades needed. Overall good experience and nice stay. Located at a central, logistical location.
