Extended Stay America Suites Orange County Irvine Spectrum

The worst hotel I have stayed in irvine. I changed rooms three times with fungus in bathroom. The beds had stains. washed blood stains in pillow. Staff was unfriendly and did not even like to hear complaints about the room. I do not recommend to stay in this hotel.

Room is extremely old and needs a major rehab. The carpet is stained, toilet seat was not cleaned, window screens were torn and ripped. We did not stay even after paying since it was not refundable. The management refused to refund our money even though we could not stay under these poor conditions . The front desk staff were great. It was just the management and the corporation that failed to provide accommodations for a property that is in need of more care. This should not be offered on any travel booking platform. The management was able to rent the room and yet they failed to refund us any portion. Terrible service and will never book again .

The room was not clean, food like particles on the stove, bathtub not clean. Outside the door smelled heavily like urine. Stairs up to the room smelled like urine. No doubt homeless live in the stairwell. Fire hazard with stored broken bikes on the way to the room. Not safe and NOT a clean extended stay. Certainly NOT worth $255!! Hotels.com should not have this place as an option.

Good: >The location was convenient and easy to find. > Parking was free and plenty. > The staff were super helpful and tried their best. Could be better: > The non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes and mildew. > The bathroom did not have a vent and a previous guest's towel was still in the shower. > The locks on the door were unreliable > The property was littered with pet waste. Thankfully this was just a one night stay-- I could not wait to leave.

We stayed for four nights. The room was very dirty. The carpet was old, worn, torn and stained. Flooring in the bathroom was coming up and was repaired with a glob of something? Everything needs updating. The breakfast is a packaged muffin and make yourself oatmeal. The location is wonderful which is why we gave it a try. Never again.

The front desk staff were excellent! Very helpful and kind appreciated the extra kindness when i made a request 🙂 I would stay again as the front desk staff made all the difference. The maid knocked on my door at 920 and woke me up which i thought was a little early on a Sunday morning but otherwise very pleased with property.

staff was very cordial and helpful during the check in and out process. The rooms were clean and free parking was a plus.

nothing We came in to check in very early because we had nowhere else to go after traveling all day. When we told the front desk hijabi that we are here to check in she looked at us confused and said "but its check OUT time right now" with a stupid look on her face (mind you we havent even checked in yet) and i was like okay is there anything you can do to help us and she just curled her lip and scoffed at us, acting like there's nothing she could possibly do to help us. She actually started laughing at us. An employee of this crappy motel started laughing at us because we showed up 3 hours too early for check in. We immediately left because obviously this place only knows how to treat third worlders? Thats my guess because i saw almost exclusively indians in the parking lot while we called an uber to take us to a hotel that cares about people and is willing to help their customers. And wouldnt you know, the people at the next hotel actually had some manners and knew how to talk to customers. And you would never believe it! Here we are 2.5 hours early to check in and they tell us to chill out in their lobby while they keep out luggage behind the front desk. And after about 45 minutes our room was ready! They really know how to help people out and not just scoff in the face of paying customers

Bed was comfortable however, the room was not very clean. The large window had no lock and no screen and the bathroom lock did not work. The maid tried to enter room 2x to clean. The lighting is very dim.

The no curb walk in shower was not sloped enough, when I took a shower the water ran towards the toilet

Rooms need an update, maintenance.

i like that it was peaceful and very easy to find that our sheets were dirty and didn’t seem washed we were to scared to say anything because the staffed manager kinda seem rude and mean when we tried asking questions

Superb

Room was beyond acceptable for children. The bathtub had been repainted and chipping. Paint chips were in the tub and still coming off. I left and went to the front desk to request a refund. The manager onsite said yes since I showed him photos and brought the paint chips. He didn’t have a name badge and wouldn’t give his name. He said he would refund me the rest of my stay but it has to go through Expedia. I contacted Expedia and they made several attempts to get me my refund. This place is crooked and do not take your family there!
