Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas DFW Airport South

The sink backed up with sewage. They sent maintenance in to vacuum it out of the sink. We had to go down and ask for a new room. They gave us another room however there was a door missing between the sitting room and bedroom. Also you can hear the interstate and the air planes al night long. We wanted to use shuttle service to the airport, they did not want to help us with that and it felt unsafe to leave your vehicle in the parking lot. Recommend staying anywhere else!!!!

Room, Staff, Breakfast, the bar and all my stay was excellent

Love this place. Happy hour was great but dont go there before happy hour my husband purchased 4 drinks and came out to $70. Won't be doing that again

We stayed in this hotel for the Fourth of July . I stayed with my husband and three of my children. When you first entered the hotel, everything looks great. Space was very calming and welcoming.. Once we got into our room, we noticed it was outdated and old, with mold and water damage to the door. When I went into the bathroom, you can smell bug spray and there were roaches on the floor. The carpet was very gross and old. Everything was outdated. The furniture had stains on them, and the bed felt like cardboard. When I went to speak with the manager, nobody would direct me towards them. They just gave me to run around for a few hours. Finally, they offered to change rooms. I change rooms. That room also had roaches and a plumbing issue. We had to lift the toilet bowl to flush the toilet and even after complaining about this, I still was not allowed to speak with the person in charge.. I contact my travel agency. They tried to contact the property, and the property hung up in their face… This was hands-down, the worst embassy hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I loved a brand embassy

The stay was good loves the pool the bar lounge and able to watch world up the hotel rooms need upgrades very outdated.. but overall the stay was good

Toilet was clogged Water coming from shower was brown Multiple lights in our room did not work Carpet was ripped Many outlets did not work Bathroom door handle was about to fall off Ice machines were not working There were bugs in our room Phone in room did not work Refrigerator did not work On a positive note, the front desk staff was friendly and breakfast was good. We submitted a complaint to the hotel management the night of our stay, but we still have not heard anything from them. It is very unlikely we would ever stay at this location again.

But also to my surprise a Drink Voucher. For 2 free drinks at the bar between 5-630pm for their "Relaxing Period". Super unexpected and VERY WELCOMING. Rooms very VERY spacious. The size of a full 1 bedroom apartment. With separate doors to close off space for privacy. I booked this hotel for the 24hr Shuttle Service to the airport. Leaves at the Top of the hour upon request. Hot tub and pool were excellent. Also, the whole lobby and atrium building are enclosed. So nice and cool with full Air conditioning throughout. Saved me from the Dallas heat. Highly recommend based on the amenities and low pricing if you are looking for a hotel with a nearby airport shuttle.

Staff was rude and had an attitude. I needed help checking in for my parents and the girl was giving me attitude she told me “ I’ll just do it since you don’t know how” even though we asked for helped and asked how we can change it she never told us how. She kept giving me dirty looks like I didn’t belong there and I’ve never felt SO UNCOMFORTABLE AND UNWANTED. HORRIBLE FRONT DESK HELPER AND IT WAS JUST HER. I appreciate the other staff so friendly but jusy thay one girl was HORRIBLE TO US.

Rooms were clean, house keeping was excellent, front staff was rude the moment we called to check on reservation and once we checked in. Could use new staff with politeness and welcoming travelers, someone who cares about how people want to be greeted.

We’ve stayed in much cheaper rooms that had a smart TV. My child was extremely disappointed. We absolutely loved the breakfast amenities, though, and the fact that there was a bar attached, although we didn’t use it.. the lobby area is very nice. Some of the people staying there were extremely sketchy though…LOVED that they were Pet Friendly. I got there 2 min before close time for breakfast and the staff were already trying to block off the area so I could not just grab a coffee and a muffin. The lady was extremely rude and looked at me very ugly. As if they’re not getting paid to be there. Other than that? Everything else was okay.

My complaint is the fridge was dirty, the shower head had a huge hole and was almost falling off. There was I uncleaned urine or something all over the toilet tank and the sheets were dirty and I asked for housekeeping and waited a hour for them to come but no one showed up. So I requested no one enter My room while I was away and told front desk the same. I left for the day and returned and housekeeping has been in the room, they had not cleaned the reported dirty commode and didn’t replace sheets just remade the bed with same sheets and we travel with our own towels; housekeeping had taken all the towels to include my personal. Best thing about the stay was the made to order breakfast and happy hour.

Our room was very hot the first night no matter how low we turned down the thermostat. All if the ice machines were torn apart. We attempted to call the front desk multiple times with no answer. When I walked in to check in there was no one at the front desk. I’m assuming till they saw me searching around they came out of the door at the desk. We asked to toilet paper, none brought. Had to go to the common bathroom and get our own.

The breakfast was amazing. The hotel and room was clean. If you like soft thin pillows you’ll love the bed but me personally like thicker firmer pillows.
