Bath tub was clearly not cleaned and had hair in it. shower curtain had large stains on the inside of it. Bed had a stain on the comforter that looked like blood. Room was very loud ; could hear people walking/ stomping above all night long. Parking lot is shared with a restaurant that takes up all the parking spaces next to the rooms. They give a parking pass but its clearly not enforced . They advertise breakfast but they were "out" when we were there . After 20 mins of waiting (with him constantly saying it would be 3 mins) along with many others, someone came walking down the street with a dish tub filled with random food, and sandwiches with 1/4 sausage link on each one w/ fried onions. This is a motel with some new paint and a hefty price tag for what it is. The only positive is the location but there are many others around. Would not return.

After check in, our room did not have hot water to shower with. Staff stated they were unable to do anything about this for us. We switched hotels and were much better off
-
No coffee pot in the room which was very inconvenient because to have to walk a pretty good distance to get coffee at the front desk.

Very comfortable

Made to order breakfast, antique typewriter to use, nice decor, cool lobby. Great location. Very high priced though for what is offered as far as amenities.

The location was excellent, couldn't get much better right in the heart of downtown. The room was nice but the free packed breakfast was the star of the show. Each day was something new and we ended up saving our breakfast to have for lunch so managed to save some money on that front. I would stay here again.

Really nice people. Great location. Fun atmosphere. Walking distance to everything in Jackson Hole.
-
Very disappointed in everything but location.

The location is downtown Jackson was the best aspect of the motel. The room was tiny with a beat up AC window unit and could have been cleaner.

Rooms were adequate and looked like they had upgraded them recently. Our room had no phone where you could contact front desk if needed. They had some construction and landscaping going on which took away from the enjoyment of the property. New Landscaping looked to be completed on Friday but walkways were not cleaned until Monday and everything was very dusty and dirty on the outside. i understand things are not perfect during this process but a quick rebound to get things cleaned up over the weekend would have been nice and we could have enjoyed the chairs sitting outside each room. Parking was very limited and tight. The restaurant directly next door was nice but the patrons leaving late at night were quite loud for folks staying in the room in that area. Overall good stay and great location to downtown,

Our stay served its purpose. Some of the staff were very helpful while another did not want to be bothered. You are paying basically for the location. The hotel/motel renovation is cute, sort of like your son's room but clean and with character, it is just very small. Breakfast was provided, in a bag, but it was actually really good. The lobby area is small but very inviting and cozy. There are no elevators, but the building is only 2 stories. While I prefer a more modern, larger, upscale hotel, I may choose to stay there again.

The property was in an excellent location in walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, and town square. The hotel itself was only average and the floor should have been wet mopped and the parking was limited. We found the staff to not be very friendly but they did answer our questions.
-
Our room’s air didn’t work, and we noticed every room but ours had a window unit installed. We had to ask the front desk for one at 10 PM and maintenance came and installed one.
-
only issue was the breakfast ...although it was free , only served breakfast sandwiches..full of sausage , garlic, egg, etc..no simple breakfasts ...toast , cerial , oatmeal...coffee was great though

Our family had a nice stay at the Anvil Hotel. The location was great. The staff at the hotel was amazing. One drawback was the in-window A/C unit that was fairly loud. It did cool the room. Also, had a bad experience at the attached Glorietta Restaurant. Host refused to seat us at the bartop the minute the restaurant opened, knowing we were only going to be there briefly. The entire restaurant was empty at the time.

Great location, clean, comfortable. Parking was limited, noisy outside our door so used ear plugs.

There is very limited parking and this is not mentioned on the website. The room was extremely small. The shower was not clean so we skipped that. There was an additional charge that staff could not explain. Had I not caught it, it would have posted to my credit card. Breakfast is in a bag and you get no choice. For the price of the room, I expected much better service and amenities.

Negatives: No breakfast. Parking is extremely limited. Rooms are very small.

Part of the property was under construction during our stay. Parking on-site was very limited, so we had to park on the street and move the car early in the morning. Unfortunately, our room was located right next to the construction area, and noise started as early as 6 AM.
