Flat Creek Inn

Spiders in the room. Room was Motel 6 at a 5star price. Sheets were like plastic. Bed squeaked.

Close to airport and downtown Jackson Hole. Rooms a little dark and dated, but comfortable.

Location of Flat Creek was great! Room was very cozy and had appealing decor and looked just like the pictures on website. Having the store and gas there was a plus. Very convenient to locations to we wanted to visit. Overall, a very nice place with spectacular views. The only minus was the early morning road noise, but I just put ear plugs in. Views made up for that negative.

Exceptional

The location was great Strange policies like no back in parking which make it difficult to pack and unpack. Asked for room service one day and came back after being gone all day to find the room unserviced (a staff member did go empty the trash cans and bring new towels upon my report tho). Anywhere else this place would be a sub $100 a night motel, but in Jackson, WY it's your cheapest bet at about $450 a night in the fall. All that said, I'd probably go back just because it was adequate and everything else was just too expensive.

Bed was comfy. Good location. Close to main highway. Noisy all night. Walls really thin. Could hear next door. Older place.

Clean, comfortable beds, good location and updated within the past few years. This was an expensive stay for one night. Granted, everything around Jackson is expensive. It is for all purposes a very nice motel.

Great to have a big room and a kitchen. Good location between the park and Jackson. Quite noisy from roadway and gas station nearby as well as upstairs guests (if you’re on the first floor). Bring earplugs!

Nice room, clean and charming. Quiet setting with nice view. Rooms in lodge not as large and not quite what i saw in the photos online. Had a staircase in front of the window obstructing the view.

We had never been to Jackson Hole before and took a chance on Flat Creek Inn based on Expedia reviews and ratings. In general, those ratings were accurate. The place is a little worn, but not enough to be a factor. We liked that the Inn was a little out of town. The view out the front window was great! The gas station and mini-mart were convenient. The room was pretty typical motel fare. The towels were very good for a motel. The room was clean and had no smell. The TV was a nice size and the cable service was sufficient for our limited use. The shower was great with plenty of hot, soft water. Felt great after a long hike. Unlike many hotels, there was not daily room service unless you asked, which was ok with us. The proximity to the highway did mean a little more noise, but not enough to be concerning. Our unit was next to the middle stairwell so we didn't hear other units except for when the neighbors used their shower. Could really hear that water go on. Parking was a little tight at times when we would bet back to the motel at night. Two very small complaints. The TV, the mini-fridge, and the microwave were all plugged in to a power strip that kept popping and had to be reset. Secondly, the blinds wouldn't close all the way, so we had to improvise a clip to keep them closed for our privacy. We would stay here again.

The Inn is located just north of the town center away from the bustle of the main square and with a glorious view of the elk reserve and mountains. The rooms are basic at first glance but exceptionally clean and comfortable. Easy drive to the national parks. We liked it so well that we stayed an extra night. Book early.
