Hilton Jackson

The hotel was disappointing for the name Hilton. The staff wasn’t friendly, there was one out of four working elevators, the carpet in hallway and room looked dirty. The are in one of my rooms look like it wasn’t throughly cleaned. There was complimentary breakfast only coffee and I didn’t even see if that works.

This hotel is older and is only partially in use. The AC wasn’t on in half the building which made it stifled and hot. The staff was super nice in the downstairs restaurant and the food was good, but there was only one elevator working and there were a lot of families coming and going.

Loved my stay

The property is dated, the restroom had towel racks pulling away from the wall, holes near the grab bar in the shower (mildew likely), and the world tiniest toilet; only one of the four elevators worked; the stairwell was dirty and scary; the dark green water in the swimming pool was completely disgusting and should be promptly reported to the EPA or CDC; but the front desk staff was amazing given the sad condition of the old structure which should be closed for renovations immediately. I am going to write Hilton corporate and request some type of concession.

Do not stay here. When booking the hotel room, i gave my card to “hold” my reservation. They charged me immediately, cool i was going to pay it anyways, whatever. Im told at the time of the credit charge “it’ll be 2-3 hours before your room is ready” - wow ok, i’ll just sit in the car with all 3 of my children that are under 5yo, for 2-3 hours. Finally, i get called to the desk to present my credit card AGAIN for “incidental fee’s”. Which is not a set fee, but an “estimate at their discretion”. Which i guess only applies to certain customers because the room was in no shape to lease out, by far. Especially for a fee. The room was 80 degrees when i walked in, hotter than the outside temp. AC was broken/didnt work and they didnt even know about it, comical. The refrigerator also didnt work. Boom, i tell them. They reply back with “our system is down but we will transfer you rooms asap” 2 hours later, no avail, room temp is climbing higher. So I called the corporate office in Cali, explained the situation. They instructed me to leave immediately, drop my room keys on the front desk, and ask for a refund. Did that. Will never use Hilton again, i had an 11 hour drive, chose what i thought was my best option for efficiency, family, and cleanliness. Let me tell you this, they are of no class. Dirty lobby, nasty ceilings, only 1 of 4 elevators worked. The pool also looked like an algae pond. Not cleaned.

The AC did not work. I was sweating all night. Additionally, only one out of four elevators were functioning, and I had to wait forever on my floor to access it. I would not stay at Hilton again. I should get my money refunded for keeping me sweating all night. The temperature outside was 100 degrees and the temperature in my room was 80 degrees. Next time, I visit Jackson, I would rather stay at Motel 6 than the Hilton. On the positive side, the staff were courteous and nice. The food at the hotel restaurant was great!

Staff was nice, but everything else was pretty bad. First off, we had a 4:00 check-in but couldn't get a room until after 6:00. Only 1 out of 4 elevators worked, and I assume the service elevator didn't work either because housekeeping was using the only working guest elevator as well. There was a consistent long wait every time we needed to use it. The pool was not chlorinated properly, which made the water so green you couldn't see the bottom of the pool. Paint and wallpaper was peeling all over the place and was moldy in some areas, including in our room. Half the outlets in our room didn't work. I searched 4 floors for a working ice machine until finally finding one. Won't be staying here again until major renovations have been completed.

This property puts the Hilton name to shame. It needs to shut down for however long and undergo a complete remodel. The first room I was assigned didn’t have any bedsheets on it. The front desk staff was very apologetic and assigned me a new room. The new room however had a very musty and moldy smell to it. It didn’t help either that the AC didn’t go below 73 degrees. Only one elevator in the entire 12 story building works. Definitely won’t be staying here again.

The hotel could use some upgrades, but the everyone who works there is quite friendly. Having only 1 working elevator all weekend was inconvenient.

Really dirty rooms and no good conditions

Only o e elevator was working. Our first room air conditioning didn't work. The second room the door handle was nearly broke. But it served the purpose of a place to stay the night

This hotel being part of the Hilton brand, has potential. However this property has been miss managed and is in dyer need of renovation. At first glance when walking in to the check in counter you quickly are taken back with a sense of luxury and high expectations. But please don’t rush to a conclusion. From the point when you enter the elevator all the way until you enter your room the disappointment sets in. The money you spent on the room does not equal the final result. The future is outdated, the TVs don’t work, the rooms smell dank from lack of maintenance the carpet is stained with years of foot traffic, out of four elevators only one was operating. The pool water was murky, the list goes on and on.. Motel 6 rooms are in better shape. This establishment has all the potential, the company really need to invest in there brand. I was disappointed and I did not enjoy my stay
