Baymont by Wyndham Jacksonville Airport

We checked in late and were too rushed to look elsewhere. The manager warned us that the room was not in order. The owner had to go out of town for an emergency, the available room had no hot water. Kitchen staff was not available to make breakfast and the desk clerk stated the operations were not normal. We took the room but had to ask for toilet paper, tissue, and more towels. We will never stay there again. The area also felt a little unsafe but we had no issues that night.

Staff is great and very friendly. The property however is very poor with roaches and gross bugs everywhere.

Do not stay! We went through three rooms and then decided to leave. From no lights in the room to no hot water in another we gave up being nice.

When I pulled the address up for this location and plugged it in my GPS, it came up under another name. Which at first I thought maybe this was a mistake but when you get to the property you find out no it’s not. It’s legitimate.This is a place for if you’re really really really in a pinch and you just only need somewhere to just store your stuff and have somewhere to sleep. That’s about it. Totally bring your own towels, washcloth and hand towels. Definitely bring travel size cleaning supplies with you because you are going to need to clean your room before you put your stuff in the room. And you definitely want to bring one of those plug-in air fresheners two. Bring a couple of your own hangers at least three if you are sharing the room. Have a pair of disposable house shoes to walk around on the floor. There was mold on our ceilings and they just tried to paint over it, but the mold is really bad because it sink through. Trash was left for days outside the motel property throughout. The beds were the only good thing because they were comfortable. And the place is near a lot of places to eat gas. So that was the only plus about this location that it was in an area where you can getting food and gas quick. This motel is also near places to shop. But honestly, this whole entire motel needs to be completely tore down and when it is built back up inspectors really need to make sure everything is 100 before they say it’s OK for them to let people booking stays.

The breakfast was great and the selections were definitely on point. The Home Fries (potatoes) were some of the best that I've had in a long time. The staff, that was there, made sure that the items were available. The Beds were comfortable, clean and the room was neat. Thanks The main issue that I experienced was the "LARGE GLASS SHIELD" in the bathroom that was suppose to be a water barrier for the shower. Also, there was no "HOLD / GRAB BAR" in the shower, which posed for a SAFETY RISK...!!! Although, it was pretty and decorative; it could've created a disaster for us. I have to assist my young adult daughter (who has special needs and disabilities) with bathing and the set up made it impossible to do so.

Location They advertised a free breakfast and didn’t have any. Not even coffee.There were no hand towels or wash cloths in the room. A coffee maker but no cups to put it in. The floor was dirty . There was No hot water in the shower or sink and the sheets were threadbare.

No breakfast as avertised!!!! Cleaning Roaches in room!!!

I have stayed here several times before and it was great. It still has comfortable beds. Very convenient location. Friendly check-in staff. However, the bathroom was moldy. The refrigerator was rusted. There was a coffee maker with 4 packs of coffee. No cups. Only one pack of coffee condiments. A tissue box, but no tissues. A partial roll of toilet paper. No extra. One washcloth for two people. Pool closed. Lots of trash outside the hotel. Returned to check-in for another washcloth and cups. We were told one washcloth was standard (for two people?) and we couldn’t get another. Never have I heard this. We then asked about the breakfast hours. We were told there was no breakfast as the delivery truck did not arrive. I used the hotel.com filter for hotels serving breakfast. This hotel had a picture of an elaborate breakfast set up and it still advertises breakfast. From the reviews it hasn’t been offered several weeks. Feels like false advertising. Seems like we should have been offered some type of compensation. I don’t know what happened in the past year but this property has slipped into seedy.

Close to airport No pool, no breakfast, not even toilet paper, couldn’t get a set of clean towels, nothing like what web site….

The room was decent. We had it booked for 2 adults with just 1 towel in the room. The hotel had advertised it had a pool, breakfast, small gym. None of these were available to use or have. When my husband and I went to shower there was no hot water available. We also didn’t have toilet paper in our room.
