Amazing stay!

The hotel and location of the hotel was beautiful. The room was excellent; very clean, well supplied and modernized bathroom. Check-in was a bit difficult. No clerk except a bartender who came to greet us and give us a key. There was a question she had about breakfast. When I booked I asked if breakfast was included and was informed that indeed, a good breakfast was included. While in the room, a person from the front desk told us breakfast was not included. I asked what the new room rate was since breakfast was not included? This caused additional phone calls, until the front desk called & told us a voucher for breakfast was included. We arrived for breakfast about 7 AM. There were menus at the table, but I selected a simple buffet. Big mistake. The eggs were barely warm and they were watery. The potatoes were cold as was the bacon, but it had been pre-cooked because it was crispy. No toast or bread. The coffee was self-serve and it was hot and good. Croissant fried! Mid-way through our breakfast a waitress gave us a bill, to which I responded with a breakfast coupon. Ten minutes later, she returned telling us that "her boss said to bill us for breakfast." I told the waitress that I'd given her a voucher for 2 breakfasts, so I would not accept the bill. About 9 AM we loaded our car and checked out. The girl at the reception desk asked if I wanted my bill. I replied in the affirmative to which she presented me with the bill which was zero'd out because the amount was charged to my credit card. On September 2, I received another bill from the hotel for $199 and change. I tried to call the hotel, but received an AI person. I made another call on September 3 to a number at the bottom of the bill and received another AI person who after some discussions transferred me to a 3rd person. This person referred me back to the original number. At this point I called American Express and filed a dispute. Read what I wrote in the box above. Service was very disappointing.

No trash bags in the room, no ice bags. Othan than that not bad.

The walls are a little too thin too much of the noise from others is heard. Especially children running up and down during the night

Dirty elevator and dirty rooms. Rundown. Holes, lights that don’t work, stained everything, short staffed… I couldn’t wait to leave even though my room was changed 3 times the manager gave me the smallest discount for the inconvenience possible. Never again.

MS Elena at the front desk kicked off a great experience. She was so helpful. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating from the front desk to the bartender to the chef and the housekeeping. Beautiful hotel on the water. It is nicely tucked away in a plaza. Several eating placces within a mile . My experience was great.

Was here before boarding my cruise. Enjoyed the staff, area is very peaceful. Would most def stay again
