Studio 6 Suites Jacksonville Deerwood Park FL

I booked through Expedia and prepaid on their app. I arrived to check in around 10pm, thinking I was well within the allowed check in time since the cut off was 2:30 am later that night. No one was at the front desk, there was just a number to call for late check in. I had to call twice to get someone to answer, and they said they had nothing available. I told them I had already booked and paid online, and he repeated that there was nothing available and he couldn’t help me. I don’t understand why they would allow me to pay and reserve a room, just to turn around and say they had no vacancies once I arrived to check in.

They canceled the room had to get another room at another hotel. I was not happy.

I was very disappointed in this property. The outside of the property and lobby was well groomed. The room was something of nightmare on Elm street. Pull out couch was horribly stained. Floor not mopped, nor even sweep. Trash everywhere. One of the drawers had someone's personal items. Two cabinet doors was ripped off their hinges. Toilet and tub were both not cleaned. The cable box was no existent. So no TV. Phone did not work. No working ice machine in the building. Only 1 working elevator for 3 floors. When asked to switch rooms. Was told there were no other rooms available. (So I observed several groups of people checking in after we did) We were told that we had to put down a $70.00 dollar deposit. Which several other patrons informing us that their deposit was $50.00. To make matters worse, when checking out we were told we would only get $60.00 back. We OWED $10.00 for fews. By this time my blood pressure was rising. I know $10.00 is not alot. But for the we spent in that dungeon. We were not willing for any of that deposit to be taken. I told the front desk young lady. Since the room was inadequate, I expect my full refund. She did so oblige. We have used Expedia many times. We appreciate the ease of booking the rooms, the cleanliness of the rooms, and professionalism of the check-in staff. This is our first negative review of any property we have stayed on.

The pool was closed no towels no soap door broken laundry room closed elevator broken. Just awful

It was close to my event Up on entry it smelled nice at the counter to check in I wasn’t aware of a deposit the elevator closest to my room didn’t work I had to walk 3 long hallways to get to my room on the 3rd floor were there was trash and a chicken bone .When I entered the room the carpet was ridiculously stained. I expected the bed it looked cleaned ,but late in the night I was awakened out of my sleep something had bitten me in my face neck and hand. I didn’t know what it was it was itching so I got up and looked in the mirror my face was swollen at the site and my neck. Getting ready to check out I see the foot of the bed blood stained sheets. My husband Go down stairs for breakfast they don’t offer it but on Booking.Com it says they offer it (false advertisement) this is why I booked the room. I have never had a more worst experience I came from Georgia thinking this was going to be an awesome stay. The exit was crowded with other guest smoking huddled up we were barely able to get in and out. This was not how I planned my wedding anniversary.

2. The room we were then given had stains on the appliances, fridge was not wiped down, and the microwave was broken. Microwave and stove also had lots of rust. 3. Pull out couch was gross looking and not pre made with linens. 4. Other people kept knocking at our door, not staff. 5. Someone was able to OPEN OUR DOOR in the middle of the night using the key card that they were given. We put a chair up against the door and we were on high alert the rest of the night. We checked out after the first restless night.

The property is very old and in need of repair. Walking into the lobby had the smell of something dead masked with the smell of bleach. The guess toilets off the side of the lobby were a mess. 1 out of service the other was like an explosion of feaces. Walking to the rooms, you could feel loose boards under your feet as you stepped. Once in the room, everything worked. The windows were foggy and old. 1st morning had coffee available in the lobby 2nd morning nothing. I checked out early.

Nothing I paid for a room and was given something half the size and told there was no price difference and nothing they could do about it. The place was filthy. Trash in the hallways, people riding bikes through the hotel. Pubic hair on the shower walls. My family showered with shoes on.

They charge you more than what your booking says. The pool is closed indefinitely, they dont serve any type of breakfast...not even coffee. The fitness center has 1 bike and 1 treadmill. They dont even have enough keys for the rooms. Staff had to keep letting us in our room because there was no keys available. Drugs and prostitution are rampant. Someone got shot in the hotel. Hallways and Laudry room are filthy. Not worth the money I spent

Swimming pool city was supposed to be clean and ready for you. There was a lie had a crackhead doing drugs by the front entrance.

NOTHING. Wait the lady that told me when I was walking in that there was drug addicts all over Inlike that! EVERYTHING! Booking.com have all these properties list on they website beautiful pool clean rooms. But it’s far from the truth look at pics and half of they pools are not operational and they rooms stink and dirty. And then when you ask for a refund you get the run around for weeks

The room was dirty and u kept. Tv remote was missing. Drawer was missing in the kitchette. Lobby/entry was unclean. Unruly children running around disturbing the other guests. Reservation was not honored properly.

Pictures are not what it looked like, when we got there THEY DID NOT HAVE MY HONOR MY RESERVATION, they gave it to someone else, the pool was down and they had no key cards so front desk would have to walk with u everytime you need to get it your room! Did have the room I wanted. I call in advance three times to confirm they said ok. Room didn't have everything in it

it was not expected this much mess every where
