Hampton Inn & Suites Jacksonville

The staff were extremely accommodating, my wife had a hip replacement surgery a day before our stay and i had accidentally booked a hearing assisted room instead of a wheelchair accessible, i called the front desk and they immediately assisted, offering a wheelchair accessible room on the same floor. The hotel overall was comfortable and in clean shape. Breakfast was great, would 100% recommend.

Staff Gabby was very Helpful, friendly and attentive. Property is clean, swimming pool lobby and room. Location close to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely recommend.

The price for this property is high! I spent more a night here than I did staying in Charleston SC on 4th of July weekend. That hotel was gorgeous too and close to the airport. There were two women at the front desk who were wonderful and one who was focusing on getting the attention of a drunk soldier. The beds weren’t comfortable. Housekeeping knocked on my door early to see if I’d check out, like what a way to rush guests out. The shower had mold! When the hotel says sleeps 5 for a queen bedroom, I thought it meant there was a sofa bed. It certainly does not sleep 5 in 2 queen beds, so that was misleading. The breakfast was terrible and burnt. The bagels were hard. I was pretty disappointed. I wouldn’t spend more than $125 a night to stay here. I can’t believe I spent 4 times the amount. Location was great though.

Great hotel and great staff!

The room and lobby were clean and so was the rest of the facility. I just had to clean and then spray lysol on the filters of the A/C ventilation system. Housekeeping should do that as part of their tasks. The staff and front desk were friendly, courteous and hospitable. We didn't stay for breakfast at the hotel as we ate breakfast at the Metro Diner which was really right across the street from the hotel. We didn't use the gym/weight room or the pool as we stayed for 1 night and had to go to the next town and hotel.

When I contacted the front desk for assistance, the night auditor showed little concern for the situation. Instead of addressing the neighbor’s inappropriate behavior, I was threatened with having the police called and being removed from the hotel. I found this response unprofessional and lacking in customer service. Guests should feel supported when they report concerns, especially when children are involved. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left a very negative impression of the hotel. I would not stay here again based on this experience.

The young hostess at the desk when we checked in around 4:30 on Saturday June 6, was more than welcoming and helpful! She helped set up the password on my iPhone and then helped my husband set up the password for the WiFi on his computer. We had trouble connecting at a different Hampton Inn from the night before. Very friendly and helpful staff!!

The coffee was the worst.

Excellent stay. Wonderful staff and breakfast! Only complaint is the mattresses were not very comfortable. Need pillow toppers or something. Tossed and turned all night trying to get comfortable on a hard mattress. Please improve.

The establishment was immaculately clean, and the staff was exceptionally helpful and courteous. The breakfast was also of high quality.
