The only drawbacks were traffic noise & the hot water was not consistent ( either too hot or too cold ) But overall a great 2 night stay 👍to Maliek for the room upgrade

I stayed at this property back in February, and was happy with the room, which was why I chose to book again. This time however, I was less than impressed. The minute I walked in, the room was freezing cold, and I had to turn off the AC. Overall, the room was just ‘meh’. There was a very small bedside light that gave off hardly any light, and on the other side, there was a side table that looked like it was just thrown in there to take up space. No lamp, no phone charging port, nothing. If I’d had my husband with me, we’d have been fighting over who got to charge their phone. Not a fan of pvc flooring in a hotel room, as it feels cold underfoot. The bathroom had wallpaper, upon black mold had grown. No fan in the bathroom either, which is why it was able to grow. There were two shower heads, with a very odd configuration of knobs, making it hard to figure out how to turn it on. Overall, just not impressed with the room, which is sad considering how much it cost. On my next visit (I have family in the area), I’ll probably choose a different chain.

The hallways literally Madeline vomit on my floor, but they shampooing them while I was there. Outside looked like nice fire pits but the seats on the outdoor furniture looked like it was never cleaned. Covered with mold. This is flip house of a hotel. Beware

For the price it’s grate. It’s about 30 min away from the marine base, it is an hour away from ILH, and everything is in basically Wilmington. Jacksonville has some places but it doesn’t have nearly as much at Wilmington. The room was pretty clean. No bugs or weird stuff. So, I would say that the hotel was pretty nice. Thor coffee is good too. I’m a sucker for hotel coffee.

I received my credit card statement and Expedia was paid on May 6, 2026. the issue was apparently made by the Hotel Staff member. Now I am having issues with Hilton to credit my payment made directly on May 16, 2026. As I am writing this I am on hold with Hilton and this process has been over 1 1/2 hour process with no final resolution.

Would stay here again. You can never go wrong with a Hilton, I have been in some bad places and will not stay anywhere but a Hilton from now on.

I booked on a third party site, and the front desk upgraded me from the assigned handicap accessible room to an upgraded room. The room was great, I've never seen a true suite with them before, the room would be awesome for a several day stay... so much room, and two TV's... if the TV's worked. I asked for help, and 1.5 hours later, still no TV's. Went out for dinner and asked for help... got a "Oh yeah, I was going to send someone" response. The TV's did work when I got back, just expected better from them.

I love this hotel but it has went downhill in a short time. It has a lot of things that needs fixing . The staff was wonderful.

Room had a malfunctioning curtain held in place w large paper clips. Pull-out couch was terrible for our kids. The springs could be felt everywhere.
