pool area needed safety floor

I would never stay here again. It was dirty and dusty and terribly worn. The sheets and pillowcases smelled old. There were holes in all the lampshades, the outside of the doors in the hallway were filthy and there was about a half inch of sediment on the bathroom faucet.
-
Clean room. Relatively quiet. Comfortable and spacious bed. Breakfast ample and varied. Coffee okay.
-
It was nice to have an onsite restaurant with reasonable prices
-
The staff was accommodating to our needs. It was quiet and relaxing.
-
Check in was with a kiosks hard to understand and made check in difficult for me.
-
Great stay for the price!

The room was absolutely filthy. The refrigerator leaked water all over the kitchen floor, creating a large puddle that was an obvious slip-and-fall hazard. There was black mold visible in the shower, and the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. It was stained, grimy, and didn't even appear to have been vacuumed. There were holes in the walls, sections of carpet were coming up, and the transition strip between the rooms was broken. The exposed nails actually poked both me and my children while we were walking barefoot. The furniture was just as bad. The couch and chair were dirty, felt grimy, and had an unpleasant odor. Even the towels looked dirty, with visible brown spots on them. The pool was also dirty enough that I wasn't comfortable letting my children swim in it. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was our interaction with the front desk employee. After checking in, he repeatedly insisted that my wife and children go to the room by themselves while he wanted me to move my vehicle to the back of the building. I told him I would move it later because I wanted to go to the room with my family first, but he continued to push the issue. It made me uncomfortable and left a bad impression. Overall, the hotel was poorly maintained, unclean, and did not feel safe or welcoming. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to anyone or their dog.

When I went to check in, the clerk was on a video monitor rather than in person. When I said I wanted to check in, he said "rooms are not cleaned come back later" - very impersonal! Also, we rented the suite which had an odd smell. There was a walkout balcony, which had a door that didnt lock. We were on the 2nd floor, but this wasnt ideal.

A guest's dog barking in the hallway in the morning was unpleasant.
-
Seemed as though some of the guests were living there. Floor was damp and water pressure underwhelming
-
I want a live person at the counter. The drain was incredibly slow in the tub. The place felt quite dingy.

The Breakfast was OK. However my family and I were traveling and checking in late and had a room that had a malfunctioning shower. No one was onsite to help and the alternate rooms offered were not clean. Management appears to be covered by staff not onsite and check-in and out procedures are performed via kiosk to staff overseas.

Breakfadt was good.
-
Man at the front desk not helpful and so rude. I would never return to this hotel.
-
The property was clean, it had a very nice bar, breakfast was OK BUT half the lights didn’t work in the room
-
We had a hole in our wall from someone punching it. The pool didn’t look clean. The slide was nice though.
-
The breakfast bar was okay.

No actual person on sight to check in or out. Room was dirty. Carpeting was torn and tack strips were exposed. The furniture was wet or damp. There are no posted fire exit directions in room. Definitely over priced. Would not recommend to anyone.
