Comfort Inn Jamestown South

I would recommend this hotel. Bed was comfy, fridge/freezer came in handy, quiet and McDonald's was a few steps away.

Room had been renovated and was very nice!

The room and hallway smelled like strongly perfumed deodorizer (as though they wanted to cover up underlying smells) and the hall and stairs were covered with dirt. Breakfast was poor— fake eggs, barely hot water for oatmeal or tea and the orange juice dispensed dirty water.

TV limited to one channel with no instructions and no tv listing

First room: smelled of urine. Got relocated to as second room. Second room: mystery stains on fabric chairs, dried snot on walls by light switch, yellow pillows and the bed was not made with new sheets stains were visible.

The room was disgusting. The couch and chair had giant stains on them. The one on the couch was oily. If individuals cannot use the furniture, you should not have to pay extra for the room.

Location

Poor quality rooms. Broken things in the room, closet & bathroom. No fresh towels, toilet paper, cups for water/coffee each day. Was just overall poor quality compared to others that I've stayed in.

Property is in need of updating and maintenance. Breakfast was good.

I would stay here again considering the price for what you get.

No hot water in shower.

The comfort Inn seemed old and not updated. We only stayed one night so it was adequate . Breakfast was not hot. The price was too much.

Staff were friendly. The rooms were outdated. It was mostly clean. The set up with the mini fridge/microwave/coffee maker seemed hazardous. Definitely due for some updates.

The staff at the hotel do not speak English and we had an incident where we were locked in our room. The door would not open from the inside and the staff couldn't understand us and took several hours to get out of our room. They had to climb through the window, (Thankfully it was on the 1st floor). I know it wasn't their fault the door wouldn't open, but speaking English would make it easier to communicate with the guests. They had to move us to a different room that wasn't accessible.

Trash don’t stay here unless you homeless

Rooms had a strong smell to them maybe for what ever they cleaned with. Tried 3 rooms before found one that wasn’t too strong. Desk clerk was very helpful

We were checked in by someone remotely- no one was at the property. Our room key was on the counter (publically accessible) with the room # on the envelope- did not feel safe. Shower curtain and room curtain were damaged- broken rings. Water damage on bathroom ceiling- every lamp shade was dirty…. Was told by operator that breakfast was served until 9:30- only to find it stopped at 9…. This is part of why I paid more for this room :( mattress was cheap and stiff- just not a good experience

Everything was fine. Facility was average. Clean, comfortable bed. Breakfast was ok.
