Spacious room, easy parking, next to dining, shopping and path train. Great location to explore

Great option if you want to avoid having to drive into the city. The hotel is next door to the PATH subway so literally two stops in you're in Manhattan. Hotel is well-kept, rooms are nice and spacious, staff is very friendly and helpful, and it has a pool, hot tub, and fitness center. All around great choice.

Experience was great! Clean room, lobby was beautiful, staff was kind and very convenient to getting into NYC.

My stay was for 3 nights and it was peaceful, very nice surroundings will go again!!!!

Location next to Path was great. Traveled with children who loved the pool, adults loved the hot tub. Rooms were generously sized and staff helpful and friendly. Parking was convenient but extra charge. Would definitely stay again.

We didn’t receive keys because the key system was down had to get help each and every time we left the room. No reimbursement was given very inconvenient stay

This hotel has a plus point of its location. It is right just next door to Newport path station which is just 1 station away from WTC. There is Newport mall near the hotel which gives you tons of food and shopping option. Hotel itself was decent, but not up to the standard of a Mariott hotel.

Parking is expensive however the whole area is like that when it comes to parking, no breakfast is included in the stay but lot of nearby options that can be purchased

The room was very spacious, and moving from the 2nd to the 7th floor made a huge, positive difference. The bedsheets and pillows were perfectly clean, and the bathroom was quite decent. After leaving a tip, the housekeeping staff did a very good job. A huge plus was the washer and dryer located next to the pool area—it was incredibly useful for us! There is also a nice little courtyard for cigarette breaks. The surrounding area is absolutely phenomenal, safe, and beautiful. The subway station is right next to the hotel, and there is a shopping mall and grocery stores right across the street. Even though the hotel doesn't have its own garage, they use a public one that is brilliantly managed, feels like it's part of the hotel, and is very affordable for this location The beds were only average, but the biggest issue was the cleanliness of the floor and furniture. The floor in the room was physically uneven, and the carpet and extra sofa were catastrophically dirty. Walking just two steps in white socks made them completely black. Additionally, the price was way too high. Even considering the phenomenal location and the fact that it's just one subway stop away from the Oculus, the rate was still overpriced for the quality provided.

Excellent location for our stay. I had fun exploring the area. Never did make it to manhattan this time. But no big loss. Jersey city was quiet, safe and enjoyable.

The hotel also has a PATH train right next to it. This is so convenient for going into NYC.

The room and hotel were tidy and clean but we had put a memo in our booking that should there be feathered or goose down pillows that they please be removed as my wife is highly allergic. When we entered the room and began to unpack my wife felt ill. I checked the pillows and they were feathered. We called the operator and requested the pillows be removed and if there were alternate pillows available. We told them my wife is allergic. They advised us only two of the pillows were feathered and the other two were foam, but they were not. We had to remove the pillows into the hallway as my wife's face and eyes became swollen. We placed a call again for new pillows and told staff her eyes were swelling. They apologized and then after the second call they brought cotton pillows. Please advise staff to check the memos.

The air conditioning was extremely loud—way above the normal hum of some air conditioners. When I mentioned it to the desk clerk, she didn’t seem surprised. We were also annoyed that the “self parking available” meant a $30 per day parking fee. For the amenities and service, this hotel was way overpriced.
