The Westin Jersey City Newport

The location and hotel were perfect The staff was less than happy to help check in or with luggage.

The general manager had a terrible attitude and was aggressive during check in. Hotel claims to be pet friendly but only allows tiny dogs. The room had a faulty television, the shower flooded and amenities they said were free were not. Example, internet and their breakfast that is said is included is not. There was no robes in the room when though it's mentioned all over hope its provided and plush. Only positive is that some of the staff were very nice and tried their best to accommodate. Nice hotel visually but I don't intend to stay ever again.

The amenities were fantastic, especially the spotless pool and jacuzzi they were so clean and well maintained. We also loved the water refill station in the lobby, with options for chilled and alkaline water. It was such a thoughtful and convenient touch. The location is perfect, with plenty of shopping and dining options just minutes away. We had dinner at Fire & Oak, and it was absolutely delicious. Most importantly, our 8-year-old and 9-year-old daughters had an amazing time and enjoyed every part of our stay. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and family-friendly place to stay!

I love everything about this hotel and can’t wait to go back. There’s not one thing I could say negative about. By far the best hotel I’ve ever been to. Love you guys. Keep up the great work. In yes the food was great as well. 10/10

We enjoyed our time. family of 5, took two adjacent rooms. Close to parking ($35) Public transportation and mall. Staff was helpful and quick when needed.

Everything. It was in the perfect location for public transportation to the Path trains and easy to grab lunch or dinner. The staff was so nice and helpful when answering all of my first time navigating the subway questions.

You have to pay for parking and breakfast after paying 350 a night for the room. Could be a little more giving this day and age. Pool rocked though!!!!
