The breakfast was very good

The property was pretty and charming and well maintained. Everyone we encountered was courteous and friendly. Most importantly for me, the bathroom was the cleanest I’ve ever had in a hotel. We would definitely like to stay there again for future visits to the area.

This is a beautiful historic property. The grounds are breathtaking and the old photos and nostalgic feel are part of the charm of this lovely hotel. It’s not the Greenbrier but it’s a step back in time for an excellent price. Can’t wait to return and take advantage of the spa, golf and hiking on property. Our light dinner in the bar area was very good as well.

Beautiful place. Dont waste time on the chains. Find this gem instead. Breakfast could be better.
-
The hallways and bathrooms were dated.
-
Not really a handicap accessible room
-
Staff and grounds are excellent. Could use some upgrades in areas like bathrooms but overall for the price it’s very good.

Clean rooms and friendly staff

This is my second time staying at Traditions and it’s always amazing! The staff is just lovely, the food is very good at the restaurant and the trails are so peaceful to hike.

Very nicely upkept building with a lot of history. If you like golf this is the place to be. We were just looking for a soft place to sleep on our way through town. The breakfast was very good and included with our rooms.
-
the room and establishment were clean and neat. The check in staff was friendly and made sure I knew all I needed about my stay. The stand-up shower and tub shower, allowed for duel but separate showers in our suite. The complimentary breakfast was a great addition to the stay.

The staff was all very friendly and professional. The breakfast was very nice and the dining room was attended to promptly. It was a bit remote and the bed was almost on the floor. Everything else was fine. We were just passing through and it fit the bill.

The Breakfast was wonderful and the cook was totally great!!!! Delicious food!

Did not get to experience much that we liked as we had no power. The storm took out power an hour after check in. Hotel windows do not open. The hotel has an insufficient backup generator that only powers emergency lights and water. This caused us to have to toss a lot of food we ordered as it could not be refrigerated. The room we stayed in was on the second floor. With no way to open windows it quickly got to 95 degrees in that room. Would have driven home sooner had we been made away that the power would not be coming back in a reasonable time.
