Best Western The Oasis at Joplin

Very pleased with everything. Staff was wonderful, room and beds were very comfortable, breakfast was great.location and price were great.

Exceptional

Was not what we expected from the pictures and reviews. It’s an old motel poorly remodeled. Was not clean, stains on the sheets and sheets are paper thin with no comforter and no extra blankets.

Convention location for the ball field

Newly renovated single king room. Very clean and comfortable. Only stayed one night during this road trip so wasn't able to use all the amenities. Will stay again when my travels bring me back to Joplin.

Clean, comfy rooms, good breakfast The staff was underprepared/undertrained, took 30 minutes to get checked in.. homeless people begging in the parking lot.. cleaning staff walking into my room unannounced 3.5 hours before checkout

Not well maintained. Stairs were closed off during stay for damage; furniture was in rough shape; no water in shower—when we called the front desk we were told “there’s a trick to getting it on”. The girl in reception was pleasant enough, but the accommodations were way overpriced—I would have expected the condition if I had payed $60-75/night, but payed twice that. Will not stay again unfortunately.

I got Best Western rewards Property overall feels very tired. Was not able to get breakfast either morning due to lack of room. Breakfast area was weirdly small. Was really surprised by the entire property after seeing the advertised picture.

This was not quite as expected. The room was clean, but clearly a bit worn. While we were not expecting it to be anything crazy amazing (we knew where we were staying), having multiple things broken in our room wasn’t ideal. In this case as they weren’t essential things (like the bed/etc) we didn’t kick up any sort of fuss), but it seem like if they had been present for a while so placing customers in a room like, when it didn’t seem to be at full capacity, makes it seem like this is what all rooms are like. It was also advertised as non-smoking and had clearly been a smoking room in the past. We won’t be staying here again. Staff was friendly, but this place was not exactly as advertised.

Very outdated facilities need a major major update

Nice stay for a fast trip to Joplin. Was nice and quiet and clean!!

It had bed bugs and spiders… also mold in the air vents very dirty … I had a very allergic reaction to bites all over my body … worst experience ever
