Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Kalispell - Glacier National Park Gateway

It’s an older motel with old furniture, curtains and bedding. It’s was clean though and staff very nice.

Easy parking and clean room

Nothing We did not stay here. We booked online with booking.com and then had to pay again when we checked in. Went to room - smelled like mold and the comforter on the bed was stained. We checked out - and I have asked for a refund from both econo lodge and booking.com. We ended up at another hotel so I was charged 3 times for 1 night stay.

Handy location, suitable parking, accommodation a little dated.

Not the best lay out for the breakfast. Nothing special about it either! Didn’t find anything we liked really! Free WiFi was ok. Toilet seat was at least 5 years old, paint worn off, the spacers under the seat, one was missing. Had to hold the handle down for about 4 seconds to have the toilet completely flush. Mattress was thin, lumpy and old. Not comfortable at all! Walls were paper thin. You could hear the people next door and the people walking by the door and window. Where do I start about the people upstairs? The floors squeaked something terrible! The road noise out on the street was something else! The AC unit was wall mounted but was 2 inches off the floor and under the sink counter. Had to get down on my hands and knees to access it! The thermostat was for heat only. Base board heat. No fan! When we got the AC powered off we could not turn it back on to use the fan! One of the worst hotels I ever stayed in! Value for the money was definitely not there! We won’t ever be staying there again!

Stayed twice in two different rooms, both had some leftover trash but the first room smelled so deeply of cigarettes that things we left in the room began to smell too, second room was completely fine (both were non-smoking rooms). If expectations are managed it’s a pretty good deal with the included breakfast. Staff was helpful.

When ur just laying on your bed trying to relax and the power goes out only in my room for whatever reason it really sucks when u have to get dressed and walk to front desk and tell them im the only room without power and I was only watching tv.

For the price it was a good value.

Worst property I've ever stayed at. We left after an hour to go.pay for another hotel room. Unhelpful, rude, front desk staff more interested in their phones, an a/c that beeped incessantly and staff wouldn't come fix it, brutal condition of the room and in a 'less than glamorous' section of town.

It is a good motel to stay close to Glacier NP for the price. It's in a good location with friendly staff.

The room has the typical “old hotel” smell. There is no sheer privacy curtain so if the blackout curtains are open then everyone in the parking lot can see inside without obstruction. After walking around the room off and on for a few hours in bare feet (I forgot my slippers) I took a shower and the black footprints made it clear that the floor was filthy. The staff were very nice. Breakfast was a bagel with margarine, tiny muffin, cold cereal, or Walmart yogurt. This was truly a $60-$70 room not the $155 I paid but Kalispell is a very expensive place to stay. The Mexican restaurant just next doo is not to be recommended.

The AC/heater was not working! We promptly informed the front desk and they did NOTHING about it, did not even call to say all rooms are reserved. The next day, we asked to be moved and they said they have no other rooms available and that we should “tough it out”. The weather was super hot one night and cold another night and we did not get the amenity we specifically paid for. They refused to give a partial refund and were not even apologetic about it. Terrible customer service!! I will not be returning! If something goes wrong during your stay, they will not help!

I ended up not staying and the Econo Lodge. I did not realize it was 50 miles away from where i wanted to stay. To far from my destination. It didnt have a pool.

Rooms were fine. Was kind of loud with other guests. They needed a breakfast that was ready and hot in he morning Just loud. Somewhat dated.

There was mold on the shower curtain mold in the shower, mold on the air conditioning, the drapes were moldy and ripped, the breakfast was stale

Great property for a large group!
