Motel 6 Kalispell, MT

The reception staff was a young man, and he was very pleasant, knew his job, was helpful and I was prepared to enjoy my two-night stay. The room itself was clean and although the linen mostly appeared clean, the towels had dark stains on them. Unfortunately, we didn't notice until the next morning as we only used the hanging hand towel. There were no amenities so asking about them is crazy. I didn't expect shampoo or lotion so wasn't surprised. There was no refrigerator. The pool was closed. The main issue was that the motel was directly in the flight path of the local airport and while one might expect local fliers to not be landing and taking off at 2 AM they were and they sounded like they were going to land on the roof. There were a large group of men who looked like they might work in construction which is perfectly fine but they sat on their truck beds and drank beer all night. They talk and carried on with music playing. In the morning there were beer bottles, caps, boxes of 24 packs in the flower beds. As my daughter and I were carrying our stuff to the car, they watched us like we were putting on a show for them, and they were still drinking and smoking. It was very uncomfortable.

Room was fine, very clean. Staff was great. Bed was comfortable.

. Did not feel safe staying there. I cannot believe they are charging almost 200 a night for this motel!

Bedding had a couple of stains, but otherwise room was clean. Exterior was very unclean.

This place offers a very convenient location for trips to Glacier National Park, complemented by attentive check-in staff. That said, guests should note that the Wi-Fi is limited and some rooms may carry a residual pet scent.

Some very basic facilities like microwave and refrigerator were missing.

The pool was out of order which was part of the reason we booked there with out kids. The washer was broken so they couldn't clean sheets or towels. They didnt give us a room until almost 6 pm when we paid for a 3pm check in. The kids at the front desk were super nice but when I asked for the manager he was rude and told me he couldn't do anything about it. It if wasnt a weekend in July we would have 1000% gone somewhere else but there was no availability anywhere else. When I went to get change for the paid clothes washer that takes $3.25 in quarters the front desk told me to go to the gas station across the street that they didnt have any change. Just awful customer service. I feel bad for the poor kids that work for this awful management team.

Outside looked tired and pool closed but inside was newly redone and very clean. No Shampoo in room and no packets at front desk so bring your own. Pool was not swimmable but for 1 night simple stay location was good and room was clean.

They jacked the prices sky high due to a festival in whitefish montana $310.00 a night after I booked them for half that price, even $60.00 a night is too much for that run down place.

Would stay again without hesitation.

Clean room. Pool unavailable. Property in large part in a state of disrepair and lacking basic maintenance and for such low quality, literally the highest price I have ever been charged for a single night stay. Very dissatisfied!

Bed was comfy and AC worked well!

This is the most disgusting place any human should need to stay at bugs crawling all over the floor the queen size bed is a full bed with sheets and and blankets so thin you can see the mattress I bought sheets ( that’s how I found out it’s a full bed and not a queen. The towels are so sobs old they are torn and falling apart. They have nothing but broken drink and ice machines. We had to wait until 5:30 to check in because the room was not clean and the rooms are over $300.00 a night why did we stay because this was paid for in March and no other rooms in the area lower than $ 309.00 to $ 500.00 a night . I have filed a report with the health department they really need to review this place. And before this company supports hotels like this you really need to check them out. It makes you look really bad to the point where people should research on their own before booking with 3rd party companies I sure will going forward. This was horrible for my handicapped and sick husband who wanted to go home for a last visit. Nobody would refund my money or help get us a better place to stay it was sad. But I learned a lesson for sure no more 3rd party services fir me .

Pool had been in renovations for years. They should just say no pool
