Kalispell Grand Hotel

Our room 304 was clean. Everything worked in the room. The television reception was spotty. The bathroom needs detailed finishing.

Clean room, professional staff, lovely place w lots of history!

The best breakfast we have ever had at a hotel. Only negative was the loud traffic on the street outside at night.

There was no hot water in the shower. While the room was clean, there wasn't a phone to use and the windows let in a lot of outside noise.

Breakfast was awesome

Homemade breakfast in the morning was just what I needed before my long day of travel. Rooms were very clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

There are certainly oddities of this hotel but the management and staff are working to forward upgrades. So if you respect that it is an older building it is amazing!! The staff were the best-- hauntings information, food recommendations, and nightly cookies .

The staff was very helpful and polite! Our room was muggy and smelled awful and the door was very hard to get to close and lock. The only form of air conditioning was a window unit. Not worth what we paid for it at all.

First, the good. The staff was amazing. From reception to the GM. They were courteous and helpful. We had a small "hickup" with an item left in our room from a previous guest and the GM fixed the issue on the spot, no hemming or hawing, just a fast and fair decision, which to me is the sign of good leadership. The location is great. Close to shops and restaurants. The hotel is nice and cozy in an old-timey sort of way. Breakfast, cookies, coffee, tea and comfy couches to relax on in the lobby. Now the not-so-good. Parking is NOT free ($12 a day) and the lot is shared with the city, found this out on check-in. Our room was on the 2nd floor corner and the noise from the main street was loud and lasted until after midnight and started at 5am. The in-window A/C was also loud but that should be fixed when the building A/C is finished. Also above our window was the street light and kept our room well-lit throughout the night, even with the blinds closed. Electrical outlet on one side of bed did not work. Our neighbors upstairs REALLY liked to walk around on the creaky wood floor. Luckily that didn't last ALL night. Lastly, water pressure in the shower is awful. I think one or two of these would have been fine, but it just seemed like one thing after another on our stay. I REALLY wanted to like this hotel and rate higher. Maybe another visit.

Outside traffic noise. Overpriced. 12 dollars for parking! Small rooms. Sparsely furnished. Outdated.

The Grand Hotel is beautiful. The staff is even better! Went out of their way to assist.

We loved the old-style hotel feeling with the rooms modernized. The facilities, and breakfast were all great! I don't think we would change a thing. Staff was extra helpful and friendly!

The rooms were clean and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. There was a welcoming atmosphere. And the Chinese restaurant next door was very good.

Paid parking available, the breakfast is actual breakfast not just some garbage muffin and a juice box. Staff is very nice building is beautiful and the location is convenient. Only complaint is there was no drapes in our room and the street light kept me up all night but that is a me problem. Would stay again 5stars

Air conditioner was hardly working and it was right next to my head. It’s overly priced hotel.

Super clean and spacious. Love the recent renovations. Breakfast was deluxe and staff friendly. Recommend a stay here

Nice hotel with historical character. Breakfast was good, and the staff was nice and helpful. AC was not working and portable unit barely kept the room cool. No mini fridge.
