A run down, overpriced dive. Lights barely worked. Bathtub/shower was grungy and at least 30 years old. Cigarette butts outside of rooms. Drapes wouldn't open. At least the beds were comfortable and we were only there overnight. Unfortunately, there was no other choice without spending a lot more money.

We decided to take a hit on the cost and went down the road to a different place. If I could give ZERO stars, I would.

It served the purpose for the weekend. The room was clean. The sink outside the commode/shower area was slow to drain. The WiFi was spotty at best.

The photos betray its design. It’s a 2 story motel with outside entrances. It’s old. The floors aren’t level and every movement 3 units away is heard with groans and creaks of the structure. There are signs everywhere declaring deposits required and food stamps not accepted - which makes me think a good part of it is used for social housing. Our room was a time capsule to 1973 or so. The carpet was so old it had ripples you could trip over. The bathroom walls were left with stains on every wall and the tub was aged and stained. The toilet was an antique and the seat damaged and yellowed. The bedding was clean… for some reason I had the sorest neck in the morning but the mattress and pillows seemed ok. Given the predatory price (it seems) I feel this was the worst stay on our stretch of 10+ bookings in the last 2 weeks. The ‘breakfast’ bar had a handful of bagels, ⅓ a loaf of bread and 3 bunches of bananas. And a jug of Sunny D in a cooler. If there are no other options in Kalispell, I’d rather drive to Idaho or Hawaii than stay here again.

If you are looking for a good bed and clean bathroom for the night and pay a reasonable price for it, this is the place. No frills, just a clean room, clean sheets, clean bathroom with daily room service, simple continental breakfast. 30 miles to NP and good choice of restaurants near by. Parking could be tight but not too crazy.

Staff were super friendly and the room was really spacious. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Someone entered the room while we were gone and stole an outfit from my traveling companion.

the first room we were given when we checked in was disgusting. It had a couch that was dirty and stained, there was a beer bottle with cigarette butts in it on the balcony outside and there was dirty washcloth in the bathroom. It another of these hotels that seems to be mostly filled with men apparently living there permanently. On the second night of our stay the place was completely full of other more usual looking guests. I was given another better room when I told the young man, Chance, on the front desk that the first room was not acceptable to me. Kalispell itself is quite a pleasant town, but the Travelodge is at the wrong end of town.

Good location for staying near the national park. Hotel is ok

I already did this once, but I will do it again. I have a feeling the room we got was not supposed to be rented out. The shower head was broken off the wall and laying in the bathtub making it unusable. Whoever mopped the bathroom floor used a mop that not only missed the corners, but splattered on the wall. Wall paper is peeling off the wall, the chair in the room has a tear in the arm and the carpet has a large ripple that both my husband and I tripped over for two days. Needless to say we will not be back.

Nice location

Recommend? Definitely not. Stay again? Don't think so. Travelodge and Wyndham should check out their properties or franchises. This place is bad for the brands and will make me hesitate before booking another. Can I add pictures?

It was all okay

Spacious Poor sound insulation. Building smelled fusty. Whole place is old and a bit shabby. Breakfast was very basic.

The staff was excellent and very helpful. They pointed out everything we wanted to know. The soft drink machine didn't work when I was there. I put money in and got nothing, but they returned my money no problem. Parking is limited especially if you're late. They seem to fill up quickly. Room was clean, nice television and the bed was excellent. I had a room on the highway side and that was a bit noisy, especially with traffic in the morning going by. We were there for just 2 days. The price is fair for the summer season. You could probably find a more fancy place for a more fancy price, but I don't think you would find a more helpful staff.

Big problem with the internet which unuseable because of 400+ people booked the nights that I was there in Kalispell. Additionally, the television did not work. Not my best experience at Travelodge.
-
Several lamps with bulbs missing. No outlets in the bedroom.
-
price is affordable and free breakfast the room is outdated. not clean. and has strong smoke smell even though it clearly says non smoking. also the picture on the reservation is misleading/false advertisement, the room.i booked showed it had a couch. the room given ti me didnt. made our sleeping arrangement challenging.
