Red Lion Hotel Kalispell

My wife and I stayed at the Red Lion in Kalispell on our way back from a trip to Canada. Our room was clean and comfortable. There are parts of the hotel that are dated. For example, the carpet in the stairwells and some hallways needs to be replaced. The WIFI was marginal at best. It was slow and the worst of any provided at other hotels during our stays in Canada and St Mary, Montana, near Glacier National Park. The front desk staff was amazing and very friendly. A very good breakfast is provided, but it is a bit of a scavenger hunt to find it.

Pool heater was down which was a bummer. The water was refreshing to say the least. Staff was amazing. Room was more spacious than I would have thought. Breakfast was yummy.

The pool was fun for the kids. The staff were awful, extremely rude to many guests in person and over the phone. The hotel completely ran out of water (even in vending machines) for guests and didn’t seem to care. For the cost of this hotel do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere. I would not recommend, nor would I ever stay there again

The refrigerator was not cleaned. Food still in it. The microwave was dirty. There was hair in the tub. Not satisfied. The pool was also not available for three days. They were doing some kind of maintenance. Won't stay here again!

Clean room, good breakfast with sausage, hashbrowns and other continental items. I didn’t have the waffles. Scrambled eggs weren’t as warm but I still ate them. Staff was great!

Our first room was dirty. Bathroom still had dirty towels all over the floor. They moved us to a different room. This room was t cleaned great either. Hotel is very old and run down. Pool heater was broken and they fixed a window with a pool noodle. I wouldn't stay here again and wish I didn't let the good reviews trick me. I don't recommend.

Price was ok but room was kinda musty, very noisy next a busy intersection and the property had much need of maintenance but the staff was helpful and did get the pool open and hot tub worked partially ( it was hot but no Jets) all in all I would stay again if the room was away from noisy intersection otherwise No

Carpets in the hallways were stained multiple spots. This property is not anything like advertised.

The place seemed to be pretty wore down and outdated. The pool room had windows broken out and pool noodles sealing some areas.

They did not let us know that they would not be cleaning our room. We were there 3 days, The room was very stinky.

The pool was closed for the second day and the hot tub jets were not working. Dissapointed because thats the reason i booked the hotel for my daughter.

The hotel could use a refresh but the room was clean and the staff were absolutely wonderful!

A/C did not cool as we would have liked. Room was warm even though we had the a/c up as high as it would go.

Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean. Great location.

Breakfast was great. They even had gluten free bread. The pool wasn't available so that was a bummer for the kids.

It was very nice, clean and comfortable.

I didnt like the price for a one bed room for one night.

We chose this hotel specifically for the pool. We arrived to find that the pool heater was not working. We were not informed of this prior to arrival. Our party of 6 kids were very disappointed. The front desk staff were not informed of the pool heater status. The rooms had a musty smell. Some of the rooms were cleaned daily and others were not. I expected a better overall experience.
