Days Inn by Wyndham Kansas City International Airport

In the room the bedspread had a small brown stain. The was a piece of what looked like a toe nail on the floor. The ironing board was stained. There was a small bug crawling outside our room. AirPort shuttle was a convenient service, with a $5 fee per trip. Check-in was with someone through a camera, which I’ve never seen before. Staff was courteous.

The tv didn’t work at all. There was trash in the halls, a half drank water in the fridge and a sock from the guests before on the floor, in the middle of the room. This was the most, un-clean I’ve ever felt and I would have felt better off in my car! However the AC did work, so there was that. However - charging the prices they do for this hotel, and the AI check in process - it’s not worth it at all. You’ll regret it as the photos make it look much better than it is.

Management tried to tell me it was a bus fly. Those two things look very different. It’s a bed bug. Will attach a picture here if the app allows. Something to know I never post negative reviews but I’m trying to save folks from bringing bed bugs back home with them. Do yourself a solid and do not stay here. I threw out my luggage and most of my things that I had packed for my work trip because I refuse to bring bugs home with me. Bed bugs are super tough to get rid of once an infestation occurs. Also I had a feeling this place was shady when upon checking in they offer you a free snack for an on the spot 5 star Google review. I didn’t participate as I got in late and wanted to get sleep way more than a late night snack. I now know why they solicit reviews before you get to the rooms

Was different to not be greeted by someone in person and instead stand at a Kodiak.

Expedia - You should feel ashamed of giving folks an option to book a room at this place. For what we paid this was by far my worst experience when booking a room with you guys. Room was awful, and unclean. There was no staff in site (good luck asking for towels or sheets), only a counter kiosk with a guy offshore checking you in). Never again.

The property unfortunately was not very well maintained. The room was in need of repairs in the restroom. Upon arrival the room temperature was 60 degrees and too cold. The tub faucet was falling out of the wall. The bathroom had one coat of paint and was missing a second do it looked unfinished. This property needs a lot of work to

The hotel was inexpensive and near the airport. No bugs! Reno has been done, but not well and the carpet scent is super strong.

Comfortable bed, that’s about it. Virtual check in, charge for shuttle, no breakfast, terrible instant coffee, room hasn’t been maintained.

Virtual kiosk check in was strange but worked. Did not see another human during our stay

Interesting check in and out process, all done remotely. The hotel has a shuttle, so can't beat that. Reasonable rates. Place to rest your head when you need it.

They did not have breakfast. Coffee machine was broken. Had to use a kiosk to pay for things. No real people. Did not make our beds or give us new towels. Room was old and bathroom was junky.

Staff were amazing

Close to airport Did not like checking in with a virtual person. No person at front desk and it felt creepy
