The staff was very friendly, the rooms have been nicely renovated and it is in a very good location between downtown and Arrowhead.

It was the only reasonably priced room I found in KC for the weekend. Property was very nice and the staff were so nice and friendly. The streetcar on that street is very convenient to get to several things. The breakfast was a little lackluster and no ice bucket and cups in the room but they seem to have just updated so maybe that hasn’t been taken care of yet. I would gladly return for another visit.

The back patio was nice, had a seating area. The building was kind of updated (fresh paint) but overall needed some improvements. There was an odor in the hallway. No seating in the room other than the bed. It was difficult to find parking at night. The staff was great, no complaints there.

The staff were great and helpful. The location is a 10 minute walk to the Plaza. Our room was clean and updated. The only negative was the room had a damp/musty feel. It needs a good dehumidifier.

Room did not have ice container or any cups. Breakfast was unsatisfactory. Only bagels and cereal. Juice dispenser had broken sign on it. Really shows what lack of effort looks like.

The staff were nice and the remodeled rooms were nice. Housekeeping next dirty washcloths behind the door in the bathroom. I was there for 4 nights and there was never any housekeeping. I did not have fresh towels or the bed made the whole time. Also, the wifi never worked the entire time I was there. I had to use the hotspot on my phone to work.

The new renovated room. Didn’t disclose construction until too late to cancel and book some where else… hotel name change unaware of it. What little was offered for breakfast was picked over by construction crew. And, the one thing that should be available, coffee in the AM, was empty and had to deliver the empty pot to front desk. Was told it would be 10 minutes before any available. Having 2 pots and rotating would be too customer service oriented apparently. Or someone proactively checking…

I did not stay there. They texted me that renovations were noisy so I cancelled. I am awaiting a refund. The hotel said it would come from booking.com. Booking dot com has not issued it and says I have to talk to the hotel. They still have my money even though I did not stay there

Location good. I would not have booked if they had been upfront about the property being renovated. My room looked fine but there was no hand soap, no trash can, no coffee in the room as advertised, and the supposedly newly renovated room had a bathroom faucet that was loose.

I didn't like the fact that I wasn't informed that the hotel was being remodeled. I should have been told that so that I could made the choice to stay there or not. The hotel was a total mess. Unfortunately for me once I got there to check in it was too late for me to find another hotel so I had to stay there. But it's highly unlikely that I ever will again.

Rooms were decent The person checking me stole my card information and ran it for a second room on a different date.

The lobby floor was covered in cardboard to walk on, with much of it curtained off, with dust (I'm assuming from drywall) all over. The floor I was on was half curtained off for construction. Carpet had construction dust and small pieces on it. The room in general had been recently remodeled, and looked good. Also very large. However, the bathroom sink faucet was not attached properly, and the entire thing swiveled. Very poor workmanship and attention to detail. Additionally, the room window looked directly out upon a very dilapidated house, which I would think could double as a crack house or meth lab. And the entire hotel is next to a QuickTrip convenience store, and cars were continually revving their engines very loudly. This was my worst US hotel experience in over 25 years. When one selects a Wyndham hotel property, one expects a higher level of quality. This was not the case here, and I have photos to prove it. To sum up, if I could give negative stars, I would.
-
This hotel should not be open. It is under construction and should not be occupied until the construction is completed. I didn't like that I felt unsafe walking into the hotel, that I didn't find out what a mess it was until I got there and I had spent 8 hours traveling from NY to Kansas City and was too exhausted to search for another hotel.

Despite being under construction/remodel it served the purpose of staff were very accommodating and friendly!
-
My room was brand new, very clean and nice!
-
Great location near the Art Institute. But very outdated interior, currently under renovation.
-
Gentleman at the desk was very nice. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom door would not close or latch. Toilet did not have enough power/pressure to flush without holding the handle down. Parking lot was all closed up with no signs of direction. It had broken glass in several stalls. The lobby had random people in it who appeared to be sleeping or homeless.
-
People was nice n they helped us out Bed beg me and my boyfriend got bit up bad
-
Location was decent, service was excellent, check in was easy. The room was pretty clean where it mattered. The room had large dust wads on the furniture and wasn't as good looking as in the advertised photos. TV flickered every 5-10 mins or so.

Under construction, elevator out of service, bagel only breakfast
