Truitt Hotel

Beautiful property in a quant neighborhood. The property was clean and very well maintained. The decor was classy and welcoming. Parking is a little tight, but it is off street. We stayed on the third floor. There is not an elevator, but other than when we brought our luggage in from the car, the walk wasn't bad. We were disappointed that there were no breakfast offerings and coffee was only available on the first floor. We inquired about spa services via email but did not receive a reply. The bed was perfect, and the bedding was clean and smelled fresh. The room was small, but adequate. The bathroom was tiny. Showering was a little difficult for my husband because of the way the shower was built into the room. All-in-all, we would stay again.

The best boutique hotel we’ve ever stayed in. It was beautiful, staff was great, and it’s perfectly located.

This property is beautiful! We enjoyed our stay. Everything was beautifully decorated and clean. Check in was easy. Some off street parking was available and if those spots were taken, street parking was available. The property does actually have 2 separate buildings so pay attention in the instructions of which building you are in. It's located close by to Art museums and within walking distance of restaurants, bars and the trolley.

Floor was squeaky. You can hear every thing when people upstairs move around, especially in the middle of the night, like 2am.

I really enjoyed contactless check-in. It really made our stay feel more home-y rather than in a sterile hotel. The decorations in our room were so beautiful and classy and we felt like we were staying at someone's house. We are 100% staying at the Truitt again when we come back and can't wait to visit again! I do not have a single note!

Location, vibe, decor, comfort! Toilet paper, hot water was slow.

The most beautiful place we have ever stayed in Kansas City. We came for our 35th wedding anniversary wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! We had to cut our stay short because my mother in law fell and broke her back. The staff was very wonderful!!
