TownePlace Suites by Marriott Kansas City at Briarcliff

Bed was not so great, linen and pillows were subpar. We did get a newer set of pillows upon request, but they still weren't very great. Again, location was great, room and hallways definitely could have been cleaner, just really frustrated with the lack of attempt to hear and resolve our concerns about the shower.

Lovely hotel. This was not our first stay and won’t be our last. Staff were very polite and welcoming. Room was roomy, clean and comfortable. We spent a little time outside on the large back patio, which was very relaxing. The breakfast was good and included most everything you’d expect. We were happy!

My third time staying at the hotel in the past two years. The staff were efficient and the room was clean as was the bathroom. The female staff member in the breakfast area on Sunday (06 Sept) was very pleasant and helpful.

Everything Nothing

Breakfast was great, the bed was very comfortable, room was well appointed, and very clean.

The breakfast ladies were the best! They kept the area clean and the food hot and delicious. They were super nice as well!

Clean and functional. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Near the Morton Amphitheater. Rooms are loud, with noise from the hallway and rooms above and below. The smoke detector was more like a strobe light. Bring an eye mask and some ear plugs.

Breakfast was great, located in a nice area. Upon coming in staff was absolutely hateful. The worst experience I have ever had. I travel alot and this was by far the worst and rudest staff I have ever met and had an encounter for. He knew he was rude because then he tried to cover it up said he didn't think he was rude when I said something. If he treats everyone like that I'm surprised he still works there.

Good location, clean rooms, good breakfast.

This is our hotel of choice when we come to Kansas City. The only reason we did not book it on our third trip to town is the raised their rates for the World Cup otherwise this is a stress free clean stay

Had a great stay at the hotel, all the staff member's were super friendly and the property was clean and nice.

Great stay! The front desk attendant didn't seem very happy, and the breakfast wasn't all that much to talk about, but the place was clean, and it was nice! I will say the coffee was absolutely excellent!

Great place to stay, breakfast was top of the line, very xloae to airport and downtown. Short drive away.

The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The staff was friendly. We would stay there again.
