Baymont by Wyndham Kansas City North

We had a cockroach in our room and in our other room that our kids where in smelled musty.

Spacious rooms The bathroom door wouldn’t close, had to force to open and close.

Don't stay here! The pictures are deceiving. The lobby is upgraded but has nothing to do with the rooms in different buildings. The hood is very sketchy. Parking lot had trash all over it. Grass was knee high. Was just glad I had wheels on my car to leave. Lots of sketchy people running around most of the night. The help was shady. They only charge as much as they think you will pay. Pretty sure it should be rented by the hour. Wyndham needs to get their name off of it.

Nothing No coffee pots or microwave or fridge stuff in the room broken very run down place and breakfast wasn’t served or maybe late couldn’t even get a good cup of coffee

The rooms had a terrible, terrible smell

Newly renovated we were told. The room was clean, but we paid for two queen beds but they looked like full size beds, so small. Downside was they don’t have a coin machine for laundry services and didn’t carry any cash for customers. That was huge inconvenience. Also, no shower curtain, we had to ask for one.

I was very disappointed in my room. There were basically NO amenities except for 2 small botlles of body lotion and a small bottle of shampoo. There was not a single bar of soap in the bathroom and no plastic cups or glasses to use for drinking. No wash clothes either just hand towels and bath towels. The TV did not work. Two young hispanic housekeepers were sent to work on it. They got it to turn on but all it did was continual scrolling through the guide. It would not stop on any selected channel. I used my translator app to request the plastic cups which they did bring me. I was told a man was coming to work on the TV but he never showed up. There was no chair for the desk so I was unable to work on my laptop. The power even went out but was back on within 5 minutes. Also, there was no refrigerator, microwave etc. The reason given me was that this was a single queen bed room. I did not see any other options in their website. The good thing was the bed was very comfortable. I have never as a solo traveler had such a sparse room.

It was alright. Decent for a one night stay. I couldn’t watch tv because the batteries were dead in the remote and no buttons on the tv. It was a quiet night.

Large spacious property. Quiet. Very comfortable rooms. Friendly front desk greeting. Quiet housekeepers. Safe secure indoor rooms, great lighting in rooms I really didn't dislike anything if the property had a hottub and maybe some food served for purchase or in walking distance to hotel it would be absolutely perfect

Breakfast was good, rooms were clean, heater & ac were good

Nothing Worst place ever. Employees are horrible. It stinks so bad.

Exceptional

The room was dirty, couldn’t close doors, the carpet in the room turned our socks dark brown. I’ll never stay here again.

La habitación no estaba del todo limpia y hay un olor muy fuerte en ella , se va y viene la electricidad eventualmente, la TV no tenía señal, si pides algún servicio como cambio de toallas o sábanas por algún accidente, tienes que quejarte dos o más veces para que lo hagan, igual si se termina el papel higiénico. No volvería a hospedarme ahí en lo absoluto

Older hotel

Just spent two nights at this hotel and we had no hot water the entire time. We had to take cold showers and the room smelled very musty, and the sheets felt damp due to the excess moisture in the air. The breakfast options were nice, which was the only highlight of this stay.

Passable

It was close to the venue, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly. It did not really look like a hotel when we pulled up, Overall it was ok but the website had listed that there was a handicap accessible pool but there was no pool. But the biggest issue was that our keys never worked every time we left the room we were locked out and had to get someone from the front desk to come and open the door even in the middle of the night.

Nothing This was NOT the Baymont - it was the KC inn going through a name change. There were significant water damage on the floors and they were bowing up. We had no washcloths in our room and our air conditioner did not work. Our room smelled of mold and mildew. Would NOT recommend- definitely lying about the hotel brand!!
