Nice property, weird smell in lobby like someone used a dirty mop, elevator sounds broken and we’re out of small white towels

No hot water. Some idiot engineer did not put in a recirculating. system. One elevator broke. Took for ever to get to the room. No closest or dresser. Shower dirty and slippery. Wife slipped and fell I. Shower. Breakfast selection was bad. Snake supplies , bring in vending g machines. Put that burden o. A vendor not the staff. Low water pressure. Staff has no uniforms? Never again. Disappoint d at best. WiFi and TV reception too slow, a joke actually.

modern lobby and pool table I am writing to express my serious disappointment with our recent stay at Aloft Katy Mills.The biggest issue began with the booking itself. We specifically booked our room through Booking.com with **breakfast included**, and our confirmation email clearly states that breakfast was included. However, upon arrival, the hotel told us that breakfast was not included. We contacted Marriott customer service, but were directed to Booking.com. Booking.com then advised that it could take 24 hours to respond, which would be after we had already checked out. I understand this may ultimately need to be resolved with Booking.com, but I believe Marriott should also be aware of this issue.Unfortunately, the rest of our stay was equally disappointing.Before arriving, we called the hotel several times with questions, but the front desk never answered. Upon arrival, the check-in experience was extremely unwelcoming. The employee did not greet us or provide any assistance beyond handing us our keys.The room was very disappointing and did not resemble the photos shown on the hotel's website. It appeared old and poorly maintained, the flooring was worn, the sheets were too small for the mattress, and the mattress sits on a wooden platform that slides with even slight movement. The bathroom has no door, providing no privacy when traveling with children. The pillows were also extremely uncomfortable and flattened immediately, resulting in a very poor night's sleep.The pool was extremely small, located in the middle of the parking lot, and appeared very dirty. The pool towels were small and worn out, and I had to use three towels just to dry myself. When we tried calling the front desk the next day for additional towels, no one answered, so we hadto walk into the lobby soaking wet to request them.The lack of front-desk service was especially concerning because we witnessed it ourselves.

The Building has Cataminated Water...I made multiple videos displaying Running water creating Brown spots on my hand rags. I informed management and they said they were aware of the Issue and switched my room from 233 which i stayed in 9/21, to 401 where I stayed the rest of my Stay. THAT DID NOT CHANGE MY CIRCUMSTANCE since the Water in 401 was exactly the same. I video documented that as well and Kept a Sample of the Water there. I would like a Full Refund and response from Expedia...ASAP.

Location was really only convenience for me for 1 night stay.

Very nice and beautiful

The breakfast starts too late in the day. I am gone before the breakfast starts They have 3 treadmills at the location and all 3 are out of order. I was there the previous week and all 3 were out of order also. Mentioned it to the desk clerk and she said that they had a bunch of kids there the week before playing on them, that is why they were out of order. I do not need excuses, just for the machines to work. Also, she told me that she would provide me with 4,000 Marriott Points because of the inconvenience, but they were not placed on my account

Room was clean. Appeared to be older property.

The room stinks and the sheet were not thoroughly clean. I ended up leaving my room just after 1 hour of my stay. The hotel gives off where they bring prostitutes for a quickie. All I heard was women getting banged out. I had my five year old with me and felt terrible bringing her here. That was my first and last time staying at this filthy place.

Hotel give chic vibe however the room has several issues. Light switch didn't work. Toilet paper holder fell off. Shower leaked. I stayed because of location but would stay at another property next time. For lower rate.

Bad

Room was not worth the price. Bathroom was dirty. The breakfast we prepaid for was not consumable. . Zero water pressure. Got bit in the face by a spider in my sleep.

It is a good place and a good location, the staff it was very friendly and you feel like home. Definitely I recommended 💯
