La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Katy

There was a horrible chemical smell in the hallway and even worse in the room. It smelled as if someone just set off a bug bomb to fog a house. Instant headache. The breakfast was great. The staff weee nice. Tv was horrible.

Room smelled like mold and dirty feet. Mattress cover was dirty and mattress sagged in the middle.

Great staff with good breakfast. Will definitely stay again.

Clean room, staff was helpful, I wish the breakfast was better. Other than that everything was good

The breakfast was great! The room not so much great! There was a roach in my room and the water pressure to the sink was low and the toilet wouldn’t flush immediately you had to wait about a minute before flushing the toilet. The overall stall was ok.

I have to go down to the front desk to get the correct room key.

We were refused and put on a 3rd floor room instead. Only one elevator was working. When we were in the 3rd floor we saw why. From the 3rd floor, the other elevator was partially open and you could see the floor of the elevator about a foot higher than the level. The metal around the door was all bent. I’m assuming it broke and it looked like they had to pry open the door to let them out.

Room smelled of body odor.

My short stay was very enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was welcoming, and check-in was quick and easy. A few minor improvements could make it even better, but I would definitely stay here again.

The AC in our room did not keep the room cool enough. As for the in room coffee, there was only 1 pkt of decaf. It was very clean but there seemed to be some wear & tear. It needs a lot of updates.

There is a really bad smell in the rooms. I asked to change rooms and the receptionist was very nice about it. The rooms have a musky smelly. Pretty gross

Breakfast great, some sour staff members most very nice. Hotel has water pressure issues our shower had very light water pressure but in general it was an okay stay. Very conveniently located

This is the second time I stay at La Quinta and my first time was in March in California and I found it excellent that’s why I stayed here in Texas. Also, I really like it. It’s clean. Workers are very friendly and I would recommend it to everyone

Breakfast area looked messy and unorganized . In our room, bathroom sink clogged easily after our first use. The worst of all, in the middle of night I attempted to turn down the thermostat and it wouldn't allow me bring the temperature down to my desire level. It seems as if it was locked and stayed all night at 72 degrees, which made the room hot and stuffy.

Do not pay a cash deposit! The front desk claimed they “forgot” to collect my $50 deposit, and said they didn’t have my deposit on record even though I had already paid it.

The property was nice but the people above me were stumping the entire night and when I tried to call down to the front desk no one ever answered was around 3:00, something in the morning and went on for about an hour. They also had a baby that was screaming at the top of their lungs.
