Hyatt Place Houston/Katy

Love to stay here, staff is friendly sky and it's conveniently located

The front desk staff were friendly and knowledgeable about good places to eat, things to do, etc. The breakfast was good, but the host taking care of it had a hard time keeping up once it got really busy. The last 2 days we were there, the housekeeper showed up one day out of two. On the day she did show up, I told her we would be leaving out in a half hour for the rest of the day. When we got back 7 hours later, the room had not been touched. I had to call the front desk to ask if someone could come and clean our room. We had to go to the hotel lounge while the person cleaned. Also, yesterday, no one came to clean, so we just asked the front desk for towels. The bar gave generous drinks, and there were good drinks selections available.

Staff is occupied by their phones. Could wipe tables at breakfast in between customers. No amenities anymore? Lotion?

It was a good hotel. They didn't come to clean our room or give us fresh towels during our 2 day stay. Yet, the front staff was great during check in and check out.

The staff is the best everyone was so friendly. Specially the front desk! Very good location breakfast was great !!!

Very quite, nice staff , good free breakfast.

Woke up to very cold water (cold shower), then no water at all. We were told the boiler broke down and maintenance was working on it.

Room was full of dirty drain water and the next day no running water at all. Poor service and no management available or staff to help to move to another room to even shower / use toilet . I also had my small daughter with me . My other next door neighbors did have cold water at least . There were many rooms no one offered any assistance or help . Left early will never come back to this location . My family has always stayed at HYATT . Not anymore

The breakfast buffet was very good and their was plenty of seating.

I was specifically looking for a hotel with room service. The description of the amenities listed room service. I was very disappointed. The hotel was nice. The employees were nice. But after being disappointed that the one service I wanted was not available, the stay was not as enjoyable.

Great stay. Very nice breakfast buffet. There's a little traffic noise at night, but other than that we had a good stay.

This property has a bar and food orders adjacent the front desk so it was convenient and well maintained. Good place to stay and near shopping of all kinds.

The only area that left me disappointed was the breakfast. One of the reasons I enjoy staying at Hyatt Place properties is that I've typically had very good breakfast experiences. Unfortunately, this location didn't meet those expectations. The selection was limited, the quality felt more like a basic continental breakfast, and some of the beverages, including the juice, didn't seem to be of the quality I've experienced at other Hyatt locations. Breakfast is an important part of my hotel stay, so I was hoping for a wider selection and fresher, higher-quality options. Improving the breakfast would significantly enhance the overall guest experience. Aside from that, I enjoyed my stay. The clean accommodations, comfortable room, and convenient location made it a good choice for my visit. I would consider staying here again, especially if the breakfast offerings are improved.
