Platinum Inn Katy

Room smelled like smoke. Obviously people stood on balcony and smoked and it seeped into the room. Left smelling like a smoke factory. Also the refigerator needs replaced as it banged and made awful noises all night.

The only but is that, breakfast consist of coffee, slush Mac

Price was good- nice to have a frog The bed was uncomfortable- shower tile had mold and mold on ceiling - no coffee machine -no usb ports to charge phones - had a dream thing cd player from 2000s - breakfast was lousy - vending machine would be same

I had a good experience at the Platinum Inn in Katy. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy, and the location is convenient with plenty of places nearby. It’s a good option if you’re looking for somewhere affordable and comfortable to stay. There are a few small things that could be improved, but overall I was satisfied with my stay and would stay here again.

Room - Clean and nicely remodeled. No real room amenities but it is nice enough. Highly functional. Mini fridge, microwave, big mirror, hair dryer, good water pressure, desk and chair, sofa and coffee table. Dresser and king size bed. Bring your own covers and pillows though. AC is only adequate but it was on the top floor and it was in the middle of a heatwave so it's probably better than I think. The price was very good through Hotels.com. Quite place and MANY restaurants are very close. Chuys is 50 yards away. Decent little breakfast bar. I would stay here again.

Large, clean, quiet room. LOVED the wood floor — so much more sanitary than carpet. Comfortable bed with nice pillows. Good shower with lots of hot water, excellent pressure and a free-flowing drain. Large vanity around the bathroom sink with lots of space to set toiletries. Great that the sink was outside the shower/toilet which is convenient for two people. Desk with chair plus a sofa for the second person to sit. Plenty of electrical outlets to charge devices and lots of space to set luggage. Strong wifi. Loved being able to park right outside the door to our room. Reasonable price. Alex and Bob at the front desk were both great. The bathtub floor was a little bit grimy (dirt stained). Despite this issue, we enjoyed our stay, would definitely return and highly recommend this property to other travelers.
