Poipu beach has many turtles at sun set.

Loved the grounds and the room was nice. Slept 4 ok with ocean view. Food, especially just the coffee shop, a bit too expensive for just basic snacks. Pools were great except the sand was course and extremely hot. Beach was fantastic at the ocean. Could use more music and restaurant options, but overall really great. Island was fantastic and proximity to old town, hikes. park, etc were great.

Enjoyed the entire resort.
-
Excellent hotel for Hawaii vacation. Truly the best hotel on Kauai!

Above and beyond all expectations

Great Location, wonderful Rooms, Friendly staff, two of the famous Restaurants of the Island are in the Hotel

The property was outstanding. Very beautiful location, well maintained, lots to do.
-
Beautiful resort. Very accommodating for late flights. Had access to the pool all day after checking out. The departure lounge is great and allows you to get ready before heading to the airport.
-
Beautiful property, lands were pretty. Rooms felt old and overall the hotel had scuffs on walls, elevators, and felt a bit older in the actual hallways and rooms.
-
Everything was beautiful and staff was kind. Only complaint was Our fridge never worked properly and our food all went bad. They gave us only a $30 credit. They tried to fix it twice and never replaced it.
-
Bugs in shower and by entry door.as well as bathroom floor. Got the distinct impression that because we booked through Expedia staff was unwilling to change and or accommodate a paid upgrade. WiFi was poor. Partial ocean view was severely partial. Could only view ocean standing tightly in corner of room by sliding lanai door. This was more like a standard no view room.
-
Elevator was too far from the room, almost took 10 minutes each time .
-
Beautiful pools and Spa, great local shuttle service. Our room did have some issues but they fixed it. Highly recommend

Pillows provided no support, not enough fill.
-
I loved the architextural design and the layout, which provided many points of interest. Airport shuttle. Kauai is so unreliable for transportation without renting a car.

This property may have been beautiful decades ago but it unfortunately has not been updated since that time. The rooms were wet with humidity due gaps in the door, paint was chipped and warn, and the hallway floors were stained due to water/mildew. The grounds and gym were a 10 out of a 10, but overall the property is extremely dated and the expansive property makes it a challenge to navigate and is very time consuming to get to the lobby.

Beautiful property and the pool is amazing. Staff was very friendly Food and drink is quite expensive on property. Walking to another restaurant is not an option.

Breakfast was delicious. Pools were a perfect temperature. Loved the live music at Seaview Terrace. Food was great at both the Terrace and the Library.
