Courtyard by Marriott Keene Downtown

The hotel was exactly what was needed for our stay, as we were attending a wedding. It was convenient and the staff were helpful. It was a great central location in Keene for the rehearsal dinner. Myself and the kids also enjoyed the pool as the weather was very hot ouside. There was no kettle for making tea, and no teabags provided. There was only one milk sachet. As an Irish person still on Irish time, I really missed my morning tea in my room!

Average property not worth the inflated rate.

The hotel room was okay but the pool was a horrible experience! The chlorine level must have been off the charts because it stung our eyes and skin, took the color out of a bathing suit and ruined jewelry by tarnishing it. We all showered right away but still felt itchy during the night. We were so angry and disappointed and when we told the desk at check out, nothing was said other than we are sorry that happened. I had to be specific with the gentlemen and told him he needed to notify the person maintaining the pool so that someone doesn’t get injured or have a severe reaction. Very disappointing!

Garbage still in the trash cans, mini fridge had some kind of animal medication in it, microwave was dirty, huge pee stains on mattress, bathroom sink did not drain well

The room was comfortable and for the most part clean. Only things that could have been better were the bathroom sink wasn’t clean and the drinking glasses were hazy and had smudges.

The location was perfect - just a short walk to the downtown area with shops and restaurants. Parking was easy. The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool was great and every staff member we encountered was wonderful. The shower wasn't great in that there was no shampoo or body wash in the permanent dispensers there. But the shower was clean and water pressure was good as well.

Great location, friendly staff, and nice reception area with lounge, bar and pool table. The room was a good size and fairly comfortable and clean overall. Room had a few issues - a damp area of the carpet near the bathroom, inconsistent temperature, distracting glow from the AC, and ambience/ lighting that felt a bit dark. The price was also a little high considering the offering wasn't exceptional and there was no complimentary breakfast
