Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Keene Downtown

GPS brought us to back entrance, which can only be accessed by key. Front entrance is right on Main Street. Hotel is desperately in need of a refresh. A/c unit leaked and drenched the rug. Furniture old and sticky. Beds, eh. Towels not great. All in all an okay place to sleep for one night, but would have moved to courtyard if we had to stay longer.

Location was great, parked the car and walked. It was nice to have breakfast each morning. Getting into the hotel was confusing if you parked in the back.

Generally speaking, things were fine. However, the bed has a big decorative headboard, mostly covered in vinyl. The vinyl was peeling badly, which gave the otherwise o.k. room a shoddy appearance. Also, shower curtain rod was almost falling off at one end.

The room was nice. Staff was great. Would have been nice if the restaurant was open.

Housekeeping was way too loud in the hall. Early morning and there was banging and loud walkie talkies we could hear in our room.

Staff, facilities all great. Bed was comfy. Breakfast isn’t great but if you’re not fussy and get lucky with what hot food is being served then you’re okay.

Clean room

Location is great. Lots of things within walking distance. Basement suite had no natural light and the worst LED light bulbs. Try to get a different room if possible. Parking was free but not very convenient. I'd stay there again but would ask about which room I was getting.

Centrally located and close to restaurants.

Friendly, A+ Clean, comfortable, coffee in lobby 24/7 Breakfast was just okay. It would be nice to have real cream in a pictcher, instead of individual liquid cream that never needs refrigeration . We stayed two nights. Our room came with only 1 regular coffee, and 1 decaf coffee & tea, so this means two people cannot have cup of regular coffee in their room without going to the lobby if the 2nd person also wants coffee with caffeine. We only had one person drinking regular coffee, but housekeeping only refreshes your room every other day. So for morning 2, there was no regular coffee or cream for the morning. Maybe most people don’t mind. For what it cost to stay in a decent hotel I would like to have a cup of coffee in my room before going out to face the world.

It was in a great location to many things in the area we were visiting. The breakfast was a nice touch. The garage wasn’t attached so we got pretty wet getting back to our car with our luggage

Great hotel for a weekend getaway. Very walkable neighborhood too!

Breakfast was great and location is perfect. Lots of good restaurants and bars to visit. Rooms are nice, but slightly dated, and the building is very cool.
