Great place and location

I had a king suite and the first stream I went to the refrigerator was completely iced over and the door wasn’t shut so water it leaked out all over the floor. I slipped and fell flat on my back and hit my head. They moved me to another room on the same floor and it was not clean. Then they moved me to a third room and it was probably 1 o’clock in the morning by this time and when I took my shoes off in that room, the carpet was wet in the living room. I notified the front desk, got the same excuse that there was no maintenance on staff. Also, the room that I ended up in was much smaller than the room that I booked. The TV kept going out as well. When I called Guest Services from the phone in the room, it kept ringing a fast busy and would only connect if you press zero. After you hang up with Guest Services about a minute later, the phone rings you back and nobody’s on the line. The last room that I was in the phone on the nightstand would not work at all . I have a video of the refrigerator the ice the way the door wouldn’t shut and all the water all over the floor and cabinet where it was ruined from the water, but it will not allow me to upload that on this site. Needless to say it was not a very good experience for a five star hotel.

The hotel itself is nice and clean. The free breakfast was decent. The close proximity to other restaurants is what makes the stay even better. The only problem I experienced was issues with parking. I paid for parking as instructed (which is relatively cheap in comparison to other hotels) but, I ended up parking across the street, off the property the majority of my stay due to the parking lot being full.

It was clean, friendly staff, great breakfast. Paying to park when you already pay so much to stay. The fire alarm went off and we never saw an employee to know what was going on.

I love the area, and it was within walking distance of various places to eat.

The property was lovely, my stay was awesome, on the other hand it said the parking was free online but you get there and have to pay $7.50 to park. Its through an outside source, so it's not the Embassy's fault. "Free parking" shouldn't be on the website. Another thing, the black out curtains don't close all the way, so when the sun is shining, some may have trouble sleeping in the bright room.
