Couldn't ask for a better stay! It's not the newest most modern resort but it is very clean and well taken care of and the theming is awesome. I have to say that the rooms are on the smaller side and the layout of the buildings lend themselves to having some rooms that do not have views at all or are tucked away in dark hallways however, we got lucky and stayed in a room which was away from it all. Room 243 we had view of the Bay and were just steps away from Publix. The rooms by the pool aren't that great. Ask for a room on the second floor on the right side of the building. The food from trucks was your typical bar food with some cuban flare (wings, burgers, some sandwiches). Breakfast was eh, they stop doing breakfast 10:30. There is a Starbucks, McDonalds, Dunkin Wendys and PUBLIX with walking distance.. The free shuttles were awesome and really saved us a lot of money. This a family and pet friendly resort so get ready for children and dogs. "New Town" is away from the smelly sargassum which was a huge plus. All in all we loved it here.

The coffee machine was not working, shower had issues, bath wash missing, had to use the hand wash, report the issued 2 times ,only got the coffee working.after the 2 time.pee smells in the hall way rough, like dog pee smells terrible bad.and Marijuana was smoked at the hotel came through the room during our stay.did not used the animities that charged to room service.they need to change that and not charge it !!!! Snacks where only churros from 4 to 6 pm.have visited much better hotels in Key west.need improvement over all service issues.

Planned on 3 night stay in June, while at the pool on our first night our phones were stolen, I’m sure you can imagine what this would do to your anniversary vacation in Key West…Plane Tickets, Apple Pay not to mention our phones are our car keys… not one ice machine at this property work had to get ice from the pool bar, needless to say we checked out early.

Very good experience in the hotel, very clean and pleasant an excellent staff in the attention of the room, spacious and clean. The only detail I would like to improve is that in the bathroom shower there is no pressure on the water but for everything else very good., we can't wait to visit them again.

What an amazing experience. Can’t wait to come back!

I did not enjoy my stay here. I thought the hotel looked better in the pics and i could have booked at one of the local Marriott properties and used my points but i thought i was upgrading to a nicer stay. The rooms were small and uncomfortable. The beds were uncomfortable. The only positive i can say is i brought our small dog and they didn't give me any grief at all over the dog.

Overall not a huge deal, we still had an amazing time, and would absolutely come back. Huge plus was all the Pride decorations. We loved the inclusivity.

The hotel has a beautiful pool. However, the rooms are rather small, the lighting is poor, and there are no mirrors outside of the bathroom. The hotel has a poolside bar which apparently accommodates all of your meals, coffee alcoholic beverages, etc. The hotel offers a food truck service only it’s not really a food truck. You have to go to the bar (one bartender for all services) to order the food that comes out of the food truck eventually. The hotel is understaffed and the existing staff (poolside) is not friendly except for the cleaning crew. Also, this is a Cuban themed hotel and the staff did not know what a colada was. To me, being Cuban and needing Cuban coffee it’s unacceptable. I feel that the resort has a lot of potential but needs a lot of improvement. The hotel is pretty just like the pictures only a much smaller version. It’s such a shame because we were so excited to stay there and we were somewhat disappointed. We also felt unsafe, it said not responsible for your car and upon our return to the hotel one night there were five police cars out front. The front desk said it was just a mishap. Really?? Still don’t know what happens

The location is great, the room was clean, the staff were helpful, but all of that was completely but the parking leaves a lot to be desired, tight maneuvering, not enough spaces for the guests. But none of that mattered based on how we were introduced to the hotel.

Nice option.

First time in Key West and will only stay here going forward

The amenities and the property were wonderful — including the pool area and lobby, along with the outdoor bar and restaurants. The rooms were a bit small — but adequate since we didn’t spend that much time in it.

the staff were friendly rooms more or less clean pillows were uncomfortable

my daughter and and I were there for two days. Everything was exceptional. We love the pool the food trucks and the ability to catch the shuttle. Definitely recommend.

The gay pride stuff is over the top in the lobby and pool area. I'd say tone that down a bit. Just like I wouldn't want to walk in and see posters of Trump all over the place, I prefer to not see political ideology markers while I'm on vacation. Interestingly enough, did not see what appeared to be any gay couples there. Great family environment with lots of kids in the pool. Rooms are tastfully done. Includes shuttle to the historical area/Seaport. Saves on parking fees near tourist area. Oh, and parking at the hotel is included. I did my research and you cannot find much free/included parking at most Key West hotels. Will be coming back.

Unique place to stay in Key West, clean and fairly well appointed rooms, very comfortable beds but if you’re looking for a quiet relaxing vacay this may not be the spot. During our stay there were hella noisy kids and construction going on downstairs which didn’t make for a fun vacay vibe. The pool was packed every day, they don’t enforce the poolside rules and they don’t control the iguana population, which according to Florida FWC they should be. Lookout bc they will steal your food and crap on your belongings. Flama Cabana is the highlight of the resort, but doesn’t open until 5:00 so there is no nice bar or dining available until then. All other bar and dining is poolside outdoors. Likely would not book this hotel again, but if you have kids it’s probably great.
