The hotel had a good vibe. The staff made us feel welcome and it was clean and quiet. Not much space for luggage inside the room. The space of the room is good for 2 people, but four people is a little crowded.

Beautiful property located right off of Truman. Even from the moment of check-in, everything was great. Derron was very kind and accommodating and made check-in seamless. We arrived at the property early that morning, due to our flight, and they kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at the front office so we could check out the island until our room was ready. The beds were super comfortable. Staff came in every day to provide clean towels and make the beds. Rooms are well insulated and very minimal outside noise is heard. There’s a happy hour with complimentary wine from 5p-6p by the pool. WiFi was excellent. Breakfast staff was very kind and had fresh pastries. Simple breakfast of cereal, toast, bagels, cereal, pastries, yogurt and fruit. Not diabetic or gluten friendly, just fyi. Highly recommend this location and would stay here again! Large families stay here and take up all of the small pool space and lounges. There’s a very limited number of chairs and a couple days during our visit, two families took up every lounge and the pool, so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool those days.

The location was great because we could walk everywhere, and that's the main reason we booked it. I also liked the breakfast that's added value for sure. The beds are small, the pool is about the size of a single family home's pool, and the mini fridges are empty. They also place a $150 hold for incidentals, which is interesting given an empty mini fridge. ? I guess you get what you pay for with this one!

The hotel was great! I loved the breakfast and wine hour and the turn down service with key lime gummies! The location was fantastic. The pool was perfect! They have done a really nice job with this hotel. I would have given The Truman Hotel a 5 Star but unfortunately when we checked in I specifically asked for a top floor room. We ended up on the second floor. We showed up early too on our arrival date and were told our room wasn't ready yet so we walked around to come back and find that there appeared to be a lot of people that just checked in. I was bummed they were not able to accommodate us.

Only wish is for pool to be cooler

Cute, charming hotel. Very clean and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel. Only the walk to Mallory square was a little more far than we hoped for.

Breakfast was great, having a secluded pool was nice, the beds were comfortable and the property was close to the main strip without being noisy.

I think the breakfast hours are too early and it certainly could have used more variety than what was offered.

No low carb options for diabetics Pool stayed very warm. Was not a refreshing experience.

The Truman hotel has a great location to Duval street. The rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable. The shower was nice and had very hot water. I loved the turndown service in the evening where the staff would leave water bottles and a bag of jelly beans. The complementary breakfast was delicious. They had at least 5 different types of croissants to choose from each morning. There were not many places to put your towels in the bathroom. The bathroom needed more towel racks. The courtyard and pool were gorgeous, but the pool was very small. The pool area was always crowded and sometimes it was not very relaxing because there was a party atmosphere at the pool...but it's Key West and it has a party atmosphere to begin with. Next time I know not to book something close to Duval street if I want a relaxing and peaceful pool area.
