Quality Inn Killeen Near Fort Hood

Checking in was an issue because I have a hyphenated name. First they say they didn’t have reservation. Then when I offered my ID and credit card, they were trying to get my husbands ID because my name didn’t match. Desk clerks English was very hard to understand

The staff was wonderful. When I reported the the mini-fridge they took note and asked whether I wanted to move rooms or just report. I won't complain too much. You get what you pay for. However, the room smelled of mold. It looks like they have a termite problem. The carpet and all other cloth was moist to the touch. The mini-fridge was broken (they did offer to change my room). I had to change the AC mode (because the air was so humid and moldy) from cool to dry and could hear the water settle in the system. Also, it is in a hotel district right off a highway without blackout curtains. It was so bright we didn't realize it was almost 1am.

The breakfast and staff was outstanding Nothing...everything was good

I wondered why it happened ? The stand lamps had no light balls. The breakfast was very fresh, besides the regulars. Friday's served hashbrown. But, not weekend.

The furniture had cigarette marks in the wood. The lamp Shades liners were cracked up so when the light was on you can see the damage. Use the restroom one time and the toilet was stopped up. The maintenance man had to come and unstop the toilet. The handle on the toilet to flush was cracked and the seat on the commode was loose.
