Holiday Inn Express Knoxville Downtown by IHG

We stayed at this no frills hotel to go to a UT game. The location was good for walking to and from the game, downtown & we also went to a concert at the arena. The rooms were a bit small but that’s to be expected from an express location. My only minor complaint was that check in took forever (or maybe forever to me after a 5 hour flight). There was only one guy working and quite a line. I will say he was doing his best and was friendly and apologetic for the wait. We saw the same long line the next day so it didn’t seem like a one off. Overall I would stay here again and suggest it to others . Just be patient :)

Nice clean room but the TV would not get good reception.

locked bathrooms in lobby

Came here for business. Hotel was clean and conveniently located.

Very nice staff, great location, clean rooms. Amentities downstairs were a bit lacking. They ran out of water bottles and no free water is in the room or even water to purchase. So it’s best to bring some before you arrive. Our room was really nice and the free breakfast was plentiful.

Hotel is brand new.

The hotel was conveniently located close to Market Square and to the University. The room was clean. The staff were very friend and helpful. You have to park in a parking garage a block away which is not terrible but also not the most convenient situation. I would stay there again.

Yummy bacon

Exceptional staff and so update and clean

Nothing other than the placement of the bathroom faucet. It was in an awkward spot and always made a mess on the counter when using it. Other than that, everything was great.

No pool or maybe hot tubs

The hotel was nice enough and the breakfast was good. The parking situation isn't the best. You have to park in a garage down the street and let them know each time you go in so they can validate your parking. Staff was great!

“ FELICITACIONES”

I wish they'd had coffee in-room rather than making you go to the 2nd floor, where the coffee machine was usually broken. Also they didn't clean the room at all for some reason? And there was no gym even though it said there was.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking is just around the corner and reasonably priced.

Lovation

No pool

The location was great Didn't have a training facitlity.

Clean room, great location...parking at the parking garage is a little inconvenient.

Hotel was very clean and in an excellent location near restaurants and entertainment. The breakfast was also very good. The staff was friendly and efficient.
