Im not sure what you are paying for . . . You are on the same street as other 3-4 star hotels. There was nothing that stood out about this hotel. The staff was okay. The room was unique. One irritating thing, there were no clear signs for pricing on the fridge or near the snacks. And I assumed for $500+ a night in knoxville, a bag of chips and a coke would be complimentary. I thought that was part of what you were paying for. Again. Nice hotel. Staff fine. Bed was weird though. And ill also say, you are on a main drag. It is a loud area. It is an old building. They could offer ear plugs on the bedside table, that I am sure theyd charge you $5 for using.

Beautiful property!!!

Staff, room, coffee (Nespresso!) were all lovely
-
Great big room! The hotel is very comfortable and decorated with excellent taste. Another great part of it is the restaurant located in the lobby. The food, ambiance and drinks awesome!

This is a very cute hotel. I love that they used and maintained the older aspects of the building. These types of hotels are my favorite.

The person next door got on a conference call before 8 am and might as well have been sitting in our room. Unfortunately breakfast did not start until 10 am. Room was charming, staff were very pleasant but the would not necessarily stay there again,

Absolutely gorgeous. They don’t clean your room - was there Thursday - Sunday!
-
I liked the breakfast they once brought up the floor, but it appears Marriott has done some cost cutting as this is no longer provided. When I was told “breakfast is now downstairs starting at 10”, I was expecting to find coffee and pastries. Instead, they seated me at the restaurant as if I’d walked in off the street. Horrible soundproofing. You can hear EVERYTHING the adjoining rooms are up to. Cannot recommend unless you’re an exhibitionist or a voyeur.

One of the best rooms I’ve had in Knoxville. Convenient location. Rooms were quiet. Comfortable beds. Staff/service were average. Weren’t rude, just not friendly or welcoming per se.
-
appreciated the non-corporate design the abusurd price for a hotel in Knoxville which doesn't serve breakfast or have any room service

Property was beautiful and room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. I thought pastries were included in the morning however they were not. This was mentioned in previous reviews and list of amenities stated "pastries in morning" but when we asked staff we were told there was a charge for them. It was a little confusing.

Great hotel! Excellent location. Would highly recommend.
-
Clean, beautiful, comfortable, intimate hotel.
-
My only real complaint is that on the hotels.com website it said breakfast is included. At the hotel they said “we don’t do that anymore.” Disappointing.
-
Front desk was extremely helpful and nice. Beautiful rooms and property.
