I can't understand how this place gets any good reviews. It *looks* like it should be a good place to stay, but it isn't - it's just lobby window-dressing. The walls and windows are impossibly thin. Had a 10th-floor room overlooking Summit Drive and the "Historic Market Square." A band was playing in the square - which is about 500 feet away - and it was loud enough that it could have been in the room. On either side of our room and across the hall were families with school-age kids who were playing in the hall, shouting, bouncing around the walls, and those could have been in our room. To top it off, the bathroom is so small that there isn't enough room for 2 people to put their toiletries bags on the counter of the sink. We asked the desk clerk - a rude, smirking little man - if there were quieter rooms available, and his response was basically ¯\_(ツ)_/¯: you can choose street noise or alleyway noise, but the next-door-room noise is always there. After putting on brave faces for 3 hours after checking in, we gave up and checked out even though we lost the money we paid for the night. Better to be out several hundred dollars than put up with the total inconvenience.

The location, the cleanliness, the staff, the comfort. Nothing.

What we needed, where and when we needed it. Plenty of linens and towels. The room was damp/humid, even with ac running. There was no vent in the bathroom. There was at least a 1-inch gap between the door and the floor, allowing bright light in. (Used an extra towel to line the door to block the light.)
-
The property was beautiful inside and out and was close to where we needed to go. For the amount of money we spent, there was not a free breakfast.

Stay was good. I was trying to find a large bag for soiled clothes. Housekeeping on our floor didn't speak English. Went down to desk, he advised to check with gift shop which had a grocery sized bag. On the way back to room I saw another housekeeper and she knew exactly what I needed.

Beds were super comfortable and the pool and gym were nice. Room service took more than an hour for a couple small meals, but otherwise the food was good. The staff were all very friendly. Great location as well.
