Marriott Knoxville Downtown

From the moment you walk in the smell relaxes you! The location is great- we were there to move my son in to UTK, & were able to walk to the campus. I was there Thursday- Monday. Thursday I slept great, beds & pillows very comfy. Friday-Monday the noise on the street was soooo awful (it sounded like I was sleeping on the street). So if you stay make sure you are NOT street facing.

Just an overnight stay. Hotel was comfortable, we were bummed that the hotel bar closed early. Good location to walk to attractions.

My only concern was if your neighbor’s had their TV turned up loudly, you could hear it through the adjoining wall. We faced the YMCA and we could hear cars and trucks rumble by at all hours. I would request a quieter room if staying in a city view room. The food in their restaurant was excellent. We had breakfast and my omelet was fantastic! Excellent food and great service! If visiting Knoxville again, I would stay here. I would just ask for a quieter room.

Great location. Convenient to the university, Market square, and downtown. The complementary shuttle was great. Unfortunately, our bathroom flooded every morning after 1 minute of running the water and completely soaked the room. We were ok as long as they gave us extra towels but the house keeping crew would only allow us 2. Our bathroom was wet and unsafe the entire visit (it is a handicap accessible room which is fine but it’s not safe). Additionally, the room was not very sound proof and it was very loud at night with sirens, train whistle, and conversation outside in the street.

Great place

Started off rocky room wasn’t ready at check in had to wait close to an hour before room was ready but they took care of us and comped our valet, also gave 2 breakfast vouchers and 2 free drinks at the bar! Room was very clean and I can’t say enough about the staff every single one I encountered was very friendly and courteous! Highly recommend this hotel!
