Great place to stay. Clean rooms, great staff

We booked a king room with a sofa bed because our older children planned to stay with us foe a night while attending Fanboy Expo. Upon arrival, we were assigned wheelchair accessible room that did not include the advertised sofa bed. As a result, our children were unable to stay with us as planned. During our stay, the television repeatedly malfunctioned, and when we contacted the front desk we were told to 'be patient' rather than being offered prompt assistance. We were also confused by the parking information, as signage advertised $20 valet parking, but overnight hotel guests were charged $40 per night. Although a staff member initially mentioned the possibility of a parking credit, we were later told no compensation could be provided. We understand that issues can occur, but we were disappointed that neither the room discrepancy nor the service concerns were addressed. The booking also didnt advertise that parking at this hotel is valet only. It says it is available but upon checking in, there is no other option for parking. The front desk staff did not attempt to assist us nor did they make us feel comfortable. We asked about breakfast and lounge area and they made us feel inferior by assuming we weren't high level marriot members, telling us about the wonderful things available but only to others and not us. That basically we could sleep there amd thats it. We will not be back.

We’ve stayed here several times since it opened. Nice hotel and the M Club sets it apart from other local properties. Good location close to UTK and downtown Knoxville. They offer a free shuttle service. Only complaint is the exorbitant prices all Knoxville hotels charge during games or special events.

Should serve free coffee in lobby
-
The chocolate covered strawberry and hand written note from the front desk was SUCH a wonderful surprise! Thank you!

I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. This may not seem high praise but I rarely travel so it's higher praise than you may realize.

The location was perfect for the wedding location in the park. Our television wasn’t working, but eventually someone came to fix it.
