Motel 6 Knoxville, TN - East

Location wise it's convenient, surroundings are good. It's the most unclean lodge I have ever experienced. Pet hairs are everywhere, no cleaning before proving it to other clients. Just look at the towels they provided, see the difference, both are white originally, they didn't even throw away very old ones. They are giving them to customers. Now, I come to the check-in process; I booked a non-smoking room from here and the "non-smoking" work was on the title of the room. It was not a feature. During my check-in, they provided a smoking room, we discovered when we entered the room, it was very stinky. Later, we came back to reception and mentioned about the room booking of having a non-smoking room. They mentioned that I didn't book that one, it's the fault of "booking.com" that they published the title without the hotel's knowledge. I was surprised. However, with several minutes of conversation they provided a non-smoking room, which was very unclean. After that, we decided not to stay, and left the property after half an hour.

Only complaint was the low-flow toilet that took several minutes to be able to flush again.

It’s totally okay. We’ve stayed here the last four times we’ve had to stay overnight in Knoxville, and we’ve gotten the same room every time. The staff is friendly. I just booked our 5th stay, so I’ll update if anything changes!

Exceptional

Kinda gross. Air smelled heavily of cleaners and felt completely ripped off considering it was $100 a night. Not worth it.

I went to shower, and roaches appeared suddenly out of nowhere. Roaches are everywhere. Thankfully seemingly free of bed bugs, so I guess it has that going for it?

It was ok for just sleeping. Manager was arguing with an employee upon checking in. Worked for our needs

No ice, no breakfast. Lots of bugs.

Not clean

The beds were uncomfortable. wifi was terrible. The only thing that was good about it was the location.

The room I was assigned to had dirt on the floor, washed but blood stained towels to be used and the overflow in the sink had black mold in it were flies made a home in it. Then I had two cockroaches walking right over my items on the table. I was glad I zipped all food related items in plastic zip bags.

Pleasant

I did no damage to the room yet they kept my security deposit. I just watched TV and slept

This was one of the best places I’ve stayed. The staff were great the room was clean. I would recommend staying here to everyone passing through

Hands down, the best hotel coffee ever. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was typical for the chain, and the hotel back behind a gas station (which made it hard to find but also quieter and safer)

People were nice. Safe area, lots of stuff to eat and do around The bed was left wanting, the parking lot had pot holes

The location was convenient for where we needed to be. The room was not properly cleaned when we arrived. The floor was so dirty that I had to go to the office and ask for a mop so I could clean it myself. I wanted to use bleach because of how dirty the floor was, but the employee told me not to. The towels were also dirty, and I did not feel comfortable with the condition of the surrounding area. On top of that, I am still waiting for my $100 deposit to be refunded.

Clean room and the staff was great................
