Everything was clean and fine but I feel the hotel decor and carpets are very dull and dated and could really use a refresh. The staff were attentive and the amenities were great. The waffles at breakfast were incredible!! Overall a very nice stay.

I RECEIVED AN EMAIL TELLING ME TO CONFIRM OUR REQUEST FOR 2 BEDS. I CALLED AND THE WOMAN CONFIRMED THAT THIS IS WHAT WE WOULD GET. WHEN WE ARRIVED AT 1 PM THE WOMEN AT THE DESK SAID THE ROOM WAS NOT READY. WE UNDERSTOOD THIS BUT WANTED TO PAY FOR IT IN ADVANCE AS WE HAD TO LEAVE BEFORE THE ROOM WAS READY TO GO TO UT'S GRADUATION. SHE SAID THIS WAS NOT ALLOWED, WHEN WE RETURNED, THE MAN AT THE DESK SAID THERE WERE NO MORE ROOMS WITH 2 BEDS AVAILABLE. HE SAID OUR CONFIRMATION WAS FROM EXPEDIA AND NOT THE HOTEL. I TRIED UNSUCCESSFULLY TO TELL HIM THAT I DID HAVE A CONFIRMATION FROM THE HOTEL, BUT HE WAS UNWILLING TO LISTEN. WE SPEND A MISERABLE NIGHT IN ONE BED BEING UNABLE TO SLEEP BECAUSE OF OUR SNORING!

We were given a handicap room. Very hard to shower because of the position of the shower head. Shower curtain didn’t fit right, leading to a lot of water on the bathroom floor.

I would give this Hampton a 5 star, but corporate is charging $75 for having a pet stay. That is excessive and out of line with comparable hotels.
